Today, I opened up the Dojo like I do every week day and saw Waluigi deconfirmed. i almost cried. If you have ever felt this way, this thread is for you. (This is meant to be cheesy.)

Waluigi

My favorite Mario character, he has arguably more personality than any of the more popular residents of the Mushroom Kindom, save only Wario. My dream was to have all four plumbers duke it out in Smash, but twas only a dream. Luigi's lanky doppelganger will be missed, (at least by me and some other people).

Little Mac

Punch-Out! was one of the greatest games to ever grace the NES. It produced several sequels, and has a huge fanbase. At the center of it all was Little Mac, a tiny juggernaut about a third the size of any of his opponents. In Brawl, he would have had a very unique Boxing moveset, but at least his mighty uppercut will TKO as an assist trophy.

Samurai Goroh

Samurai Goroh has been around since the beginning of the F-Zero series. He is Captain Falcon's longtime rival, and appeared to be the most likely candidate for a second F-Zero fighter. While he would have been great, there are plenty of swordsman in this game already...

Stafy

To be honest, I had never heard of Stafy before Smashboards. But his charm quickly won me over. While his seriees have never been released outside of Japan, he has starred in many games, and made several cameos in the Mushroom Kingdom. It would have been nice to punch that cute little starfish in the face, and while we still can, its not the same if he doesn't fight back...

Lyn

Smash needs more girls, and this badass babe hailing from Fire Emblem would have fit the bill. She starred in the first FE game to be released Stateside, alongside Hector and Roy's Dad. She is yet another swordfighter, but she also would have had some magical abilities to bring to the fray. I guess we'll just have to settle for the princesses and Samus as the vixens of Brawl.

Andross

The main villain of the Starfox series. I don't think anyone was expecting to see his polyganal form, but nonetheless, he would have made a welcome addition to the villain roster. Sure, he doesn't have a body, but that never stopped Master Hand. Hopefully Wolf will be playable to antagonize Fox instead.

Meowth

Not the most popular Pokemon, but alongside Pikachu, he has always been the Mascot of the cartoon. Sadly, the cartoon is God Awful, and Meowth lost his spot to Pokemon who don't sound like they're from Brooklyn. There's no such thing as too many characters, but Meowth was a cut I was expecting.

Deoxys

Until Deoxys, there had been no sigificant villain pokemon since Mewtwo. Deoxys' four forms and computer virus nature would have made for a cool moveset, and as such, Deoxys was a highly requested Pokemon. Hopefully Lucario will show up to fill the void.

I've neglected to add Ness quite yet, until he is proven gone beyond the shadow of a doubt.
More characters will be added as the casualties of war multiply.
