Hi, so to be short and sweet about it I want to put together a Smash Ultimate tournament in my town in sole benefit for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. I've never hosted one or know how I would go about doing this. I see Twitch streams all the time with the same intent.
I live in a college town so finding participants wouldn't be hard. But my main questions are:
1) What equipment and spaces should I get and how should I go about doing it?
2) What type of bracket style is best for these types of events?
3) Are there any legal issues I should be aware of, and if so, how to I go about covering myself and participating parties?
4) Am I asking the right questions?
