Ashley by far, Sakurai obiviosly notices her, with a song featuring her. So I'm hoping she's in, she would have killer moveset.

There is little to work on with Waluigi.

I fail to see how Sakurai can't use all the stuff he's done in the spin-off's and parties to his advantage. (Especially in Strikers Charged)

Waluigi- He really only appears in the mario sport and party games. Thats it.
He is really not to worthy of a spot. Plus, Hes just filler in character.

Ashley- I dont really want her in because Wario is lucky enough to represent his very own franchise. Like Yoshi.

I hate Waluigi and love Ashley. In terms of potential, Ashley has a better chance. In terms of likelihood, I don't know.

I think Mona has a better chance. As for those saying she's Wario's love interest, doesn't Mona have a thing for Wario and not vice versa?

As for Ashley's Theme, people need to realize that it, like the X music, may be only in My Music.

My Review..

Ashley's pros
-She's a girl
-Somewhat proof of her being in is that she has her own song (although Sakurai stated " but this time, the songs in Smash Bros. aren’t limited only to those series represented by characters and stages. We’ve pulled some that are from completely unrelated games."

Ashley's cons
-She doesn't really have much of a moveset to go on [basically it will mainly be a made up, or involves the staff she uses, which is basically her weapon attacking, not her].
-She has as many trolls as she does fans.



Waluigi's pros
-He completes the "Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi" rectangle.
-He has the ability to use attacks from different games that he appears in (for example, from strikers, DDR, Mario Party, etc).
-He's more popular than Ashley (since Ashley is fairly new).

Waluigi's cons
-He doesn't really represent a game, since he's a spinoff from different games.
-Not many people like him

I'm sure there are more pros and cons, but really I can't think of any

Overall. I'd say neither. there are other games that deserve the spot more than these two characters. But if it were one of those to join, I'd say Ashley, main;y because I do enjoy warioware, and because she's a girl and she is a witch, although the fact that she's already represented through a song kind of eliminates her (even though others think it only gives her a better chance of joining).

What you mean Wario is lucky enough. Hasn't he been a demanded character since Melee I think. I think he's been popular for long enough.

You call those PROS and CONS? They are neither, being a girl doesn't matter, having her own song doesn't matter either, neither not having much of a moveset (Captain Falcon, Fox, Zelda) and every character has haters and fans, you can't be popular without haters.

Well, having such a poorly balanced ratio of males to females (Peach, Zelda, Samus, and Nana makes three and a half confirmed) , I would say it is a vaguely positive characteristic to give a character a better chance. But only vaguely.
