Well Mr. Director how did you find this? That be crazy if Sakurai had something to do with this. Maybe his updates is not how we find answers. We may have to look elsewhere. Same how we think Krystal is already confirmed because of her voice actors website. I wouldn't mind if he was in Brawl though. But that's kinda interesting. Wonder how people will react to this Haha. Maybe the person is just tryna sell this by saying he's in the game to maybe make people want to buy it more. I dunno.

O cmon, you act like this could be the worst thing to ever happen. I think having clone characters, and another Samus, Link, and Mario would be worse and not to mention these bad pok'e mon character suggestions.

Clones are a good thing. They give the opportunity to use the same moveset on a character with better statistics. I wouldn't mind playing as a faster Samus or a Mario with better recovery.

But yeah... I wouldn't mind seeing Waluigi in the game, but I heavily doubt his chances. He has been nothing at all but sports/party-game filler, apart from having a central role in a Mario-themed DDR.

Well I'd like both of em to be in but yeah a Luigi vs. Waluigi would be a good fight:)

Yeah but don't you think that's a waste of a slot? and for the part in the red. You see that's the thing he hasn't been in any big games or played any big roles and that is why he may need to be in this game. For he can be apart of a game that's on a way bigger scale than just sports games etc. He would gain way more popularity espeacilly if he's a good character to fight with and one who can have a unique moveset. Iv'e said this plenty of times. Him being in this game could maybe get him and Wario to finally be in a game together.

If you're going to have a Luigi vs ______ match,

Make it King Boo!

Even then, don't do it!

But if you must, at least make it a character who's had some plot role in a game other than *scoff* Mario DDR.

That is complete and utter rubbish.

Wario is a heckuva lot more of a character than Waluigi, and has plenty of screen time on his own.

However, the opposite is true. Wherever Waluigi is, he's following Wario. The only times this is true is when Wario is in a Mario franchise game. He has never been aound WarioWare Wario, and for good reason.

Thusly, if Wario was Mario Wario, Waluigi might have a chance, but as long as we've got Wario Wario to play as, Waluigi will be nowhere narby.

Nope. For example I like Fox's moves but I just don't like to be him so there is always Falco for me. I thought the clones were a great addition in melee and should be added in brawl. And WaLuigi was always a filler character he's just a character that pops up when they need more people in Mario games, kinda like Toad.

The point is to include popular characters, not to include characters so that they become popular. Ice Climbers, G&W, and Pit had the benefit of being retro characters. Roy had the benefit of having an upcoming, anticipated game at the time. Waluigi is neither popular nor retro, nor does he have an upcoming game in which he plays a central role.

As for clones, they are not a waste of a slot if they are meaningful characters, such as Ganondorf in Melee. Granted, some of Melee's clones were chosen seemingly arbitrarily, but that game was rushed. I'm not saying that I'd be disappointed to see Waluigi in Brawl, but I'd accept meaningful clones much more readily than Waluigi.

you really think i thought it was for real? i was lookin for waluigi memorabilia on ebay and found that in the title and couldnt resist posting it here.

and why are so many ppl against waluigi in brawl? he would be a great character. and some of u seem to think he would be a clone... a clone of who!? im guessing waluigis chances are about 30%. They need more villains, and one going against luigi. IMO he would control a lot differently than many other characters.

sure he isnt in that many important games, but his appearances is rising and rising. hes in mario kart, which is the biggest mario spinoff, and he had a main role in Mario DDR.

He isn't in any important games, he was made so that Wario and Luigi could have counterparts, and his name is the dumbest pun ever. Hit me up when he gets his own game, series, or is actually important to the Mario universe.

I really want to say "Denied" in Big, bold, red letters, but lets stop and think. Sure he was created as a filler character, but in the very beginning Luigi wasn't that much different. Maybe Warigi is starting to make his way in the Nintendo commuinity.

Waluigis games have all sold alot more than Genos game. AND Waluigi has had a bigger role in all of his games. Just because its a party game doesnt make it sell less than other games. SSBB is not about the original nintendo storys. Its a completly new story.
