Waluigi breaks Project M on Wii U

Hi all! I recently downloaded Project M for my Wii and Wii U. The only thing I downloaded besides this was the 3.6 Waluigi Mod from Brawl Vault. The game runs fine on both my Wii and Wii U, but the mod only works for me on the Wii. If I install it on the Wii U, all of the Melee-only characters and the slot where Waluigi should be lose their icons in the character select screen and crash the game if I select them. I'm using the exact same files for the Wii and Wii U, so I'm not sure what the problem is? Any help with this would be much appreciated Thank you and have a good day

try redoing your SD card, then not putting it in the wiiu untill you have accessed the vwii app
