I take it we can input on what the new PR should be?

Obviously top 3 shouldn't change so...
1. Silent Wolf
2. Bladewise
3. Vish

Shout outs to Vish btw for taking two sets off Blunted, really nice stuff.

Iceman doesn't really have any losing records to anyone below him either, except Vino, and his wins are strong.
4. Iceman

Here's where it starts changing imo.
There's no reason for Andy to be 5th any more. No major wins, a tie record with Mike Lau, and several losses to PR players below him.
Ebay has a bunch of amazing wins and his losses consist of no one below him, he's obviously moving up.
Neil has a decent record too, but I think it's definitely outshone by Vino this period.
Oreo has stayed consistent imo, not really dropping off but not gathering enough wins to move up.
5. Ebay
6. Vino
7. OutTheCuts
8. ThePrime
9. Oreo

10th gets really hard. From Mike's record I'd say he's almost for sure off the top 10 for this period. No major wins except against a sandbagging L and even or losing records to quite a few players off the PR.
Pookie and ShankS both have different things going for them. Pookie has a LOT of sets, beating a lot of great players but also losing to quite a few people. Shanks has less sets, making it a bit harder to judge, but I think the main thing he has going for him is that he has a winning record over the other person being considered and virtually all of his big wins happening in the last month of the ranking period, making me think he is the better player as of right NOW. Honestly tho, this one could really go either way.

10. ShankS

All this stuff about 10th goes out the window if we actually have a reality check and put Chip on the ****ing PR, because it's pretty obvious he's 4th or 5th, but hey rules are rules I guess.

My final list:
1. Silent Wolf
2. Bladewise
3. Vish
4. Iceman
5. Ebay
6. Vino
7. OutTheCuts
8. ThePrime
9. Oreo
10. ShankS

ShankS

What ShankS has going for him is wins over the two people he is directly competing with for the 10th spot. I can easily see the argument for the other two though. One thing is for sure, "ShankS not having enough sets" IS NOT a legit argument. Three tournaments is what's required for attendance.

Attendance is certainly something that should be considered. Every tournament someone attends comes with many more chances to lose and gives us a better idea of their actual skill level (across different days, people, and character match ups). If two people had exactly the same records (not at all the case here), the one with more tournaments would clearly be more impressive because there's less possibility that they had a good day, match ups they were used to, or the opposite in the case of their opponents.

i dont think you guys understand, you set a requirement. its all the same as long as 3 or more tourneys are attended.

"oh you technically only need to go to 3, but if someone else goes to more we are gonna hold it against you even tho you did exactly what was required of you"

if it's a tie that's definitely fair. Having the same results over more tournaments is obviously harder and should be given more credit. I do think that attendance and previous PR placement should be treated as tie breakers though, and a majority of the time they don't need to be taken into account.

Let's go Teddy!
I'm also a big Ka-Master fanboy, so I will take the time to give him a shoutout too.
I might not know the newer faces on the 2019 rankings, but I will give everyone else kudos as well. 👏

Any talk of a 2020 ranking yet? I'd love to see one and keep up on how everyone is doing.
