Do you remember any moments in video games that parodied or poked shots at other video games?
One game I remember parodying other games was The Simpsons Game,. You could collect video game cliches, and there was an entire level that was a parody of Grand Theft Auto (this level being my personal favourite level), which had Itchy and Scratchy as gang members and cat prostitutes as enemies, as well as really funny dialogue (such as the cat prostitutes saying "ho down!" when they die and Itchy talking about his "cap popping finger"). I thought it was pretty funny. I've never been into GTA or other super-violent games, but I thought that particular parody was hilarious.
