Hey here is a new thread I made which focuses on spreading good video game music as their is so much, from large booming tunes to chiptune classics, this is where we can appreciate some good tunes,

For all the frustration, all of its many many flaws Mega Man X6 truly excels at booming atmospheric music, containing one of my personal favorite soundtracks of all time which includes my favorite opening stage theme of all time as well, the instrumentals is truly impressive and it truly shows the devastation and hope during the great crisis surrounding this controversial chapter of the X saga

Soul Calibur 6

I could put literally almost any song from this franchise in here because Soul Calibur has masterpieces of soundtracks so this is just one memorable track out of many, many memorable songs from the latest installment in the series. Standing Against The Storm was in previous Soul Calibur games, but it is better than ever with more instruments making it sound more bombastic and it just gets you pumped for a big showdown. Orchestrated music in general is fantastic and it goes along with Soul Calibur so well. Just do yourself a favor and listen to some other music from this music. I'll even list some others.

I Am All Of Me- Shadow The Hedgehog

Dont comment that this song is too edgy for it's own good, the rocking soundtrack is epic and the lyrics show a sense of strife which fits with shadows character at the time. If you didn't like that it's still a good rock peice.

Final Fantasy X: To Zanarkand

I remember when I first played Final Fantasy X back on the PS2, this was the first song that was played during the introduction. It's very deep and emotional which really captures the environment within the game especially when the protagonist Tidus said "Listen to my story, this may be our last chance."

Although this theme was featured in the original, I actually prefered this remastered version which is very relaxing to hear.

The first Fatal Fury game may have been meh (IMHO Fatal Fury 2/Special is when the series really started hitting it's stride), but Richard Meyer's stage had a great Capoeira chant.

Dynamo-Mega Man x5

I love the percussion and guitars in this theme and dynamo looks cool, I want him as a smash boss fight due to how he had a gimmick where he changes his fighting style based on the type of character he fightes (swords for gunners and guns for swords)

The game may not have been that good due to it's cheap difficulty because it was rushed, but the music was good. (And honestly I'd rather play X6 than X7 since at least it was only cheap difficulty that brought it down IMHO XD.)

Logan Kart 8 is an intentionally bad clone of Mario Kart 8 filled with wonky physics, ridiculous characters, simplistic controls and bad graphics, yet it has an absolutely stellar soundtrack and atmosphere, as unfitting (probably by design) as it is.

I spent probably about 2 hours compiling a list of the 100 greatest game songs of all time. (with a relatively strict one song per game rule - I made some exceptions for remixes of songs from earlier games and technically I broke the rule with Ocean Loader 3 as it was used in Robocop - other than that there were next to no rules) I think everyone will hate me for this list. (specifically the absense of any music from Undertale, Celeste, or the Splatoon and Persona series and the only Zelda song being from a meme spin off)
