You all look to see a shadow figure. He takes his cloak off. The sky quickly changes to pitch black, all the candles are blown, and the roof collapses.
"Shifty made it out of here a few years ago... I, too, will."
A few notes before we start:
- Go into this expecting to be confused, honestly.
- The game is a ******* modded game. Here: https://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Bastard_Mod. This means that once the game starts, I can and will lie. The balance will be swingy and unwieldy. There will be many mechanics that change up the game. You will have a hared time finding out what the **** is going on.
- This thread is separated from the game itself so that I can provide clarity to any and all questions before Video Game Mafia II starts.
- There will be 0 roles that change alignment without the persons will. So, while a cult leader or some other alignment changing role may be in the game, the player being converted will still have to answer if they want to be converted before having their alignment change. So no, you won't wake up and suddenly find out you're cult leader.
- There will be 0 lying flips. Hidden flips (such as Janitor, or other pieces of information divulged) are possible, but if someone flips an alignment, rest assured, they are that alignment. If you see someone flip Mafia, they are Mafia.
- I will not lie to you in your role PM about your win condition nor will I keep your win condition hidden from you.
- The setup can wield about 11-21 people.
- There will be no Green Room. Do not ask me for a Green Room. Once you die, do not divulge information. (I may divulge information to you privately, but that's if I'm absolutely sure that there's 0 gameplay mechanics left that would leave you to be involved with the game.
Site-Wide Rules:
- Be kind. No personal attacks against any players or the Smashboards staff.
- No editing posts - Double posting is absolutely fine.
- No quoting any of the mod or factional communication of any kind into the game thread. Paraphrase if need be.
- Once you die, you may no longer make a post in the game thread.
- No hidden codes, messages, or other text that cannot be easily read
- Most importantly, follow common sense. If you wouldn't do it in a regular game, don't do it here - given the unwieldy nature of a game like this, and it's (probably) your first ******* game with me, if you don't know, just ask.
- Any of these rules may be bypassed if you have a role that allows as such.
