Smash @ Swanston is Melbourne largest Weekly tournament for any smash game, located in the heart of the city, its a great way for the casual crowd to delve deeper in to the game and verse some of Melbourne's (and Australia's) Best players.

Tournament Type: Single Elimination, Best of 3 (Best of 5 for Grand finals and Semi finals)

Smash @ Swanston has been teaming up with CouchWarriors and Melbourne Melee to bring you better, more inclusive events.
We run Smash @ Alchemist Refuge alongside with Melbourne Melee's Gameslab Events, so if you're interested in Melee definitely check them out.

When and Where is Smash @ Swanston?
Smash @ Swanston's weekly tournament is held at EB Games Swanston St. every Friday from 4pm on-wards
Can I come later then 4pm? I live in Warrnambool and finish school 3:30!
Yes you can, but you must fill out the Late Registration form posted on Thursday night on the facebook. On top of that you will be DQ'd if you are holding up the bracket.
Do you run melee/pm/PSASBR??
Unfortunately we don't have the space to run any auxiliary games
Why do you run Single Elimination?
We have don't have enough time to run a Double elimination bracket for 80-100 people.
How Many setups are there? Are there friendlies??
We currently have 10 Setups to use.
from 4-7 most if not all setups will be used for tournament matches, tournament matches will always take precedent.
The large Plasma on the wall however will be used for Friendlies all day.
Who Should I talk to if I need a question answered?
Either talk to myself (Jack Gorman on facebook) or Ignis (Ignis Allsop on Facebook)
Are you EB employees?
No, we are just allowed to use the EB Games Venue.
