Eggz and I play P:M pretty frequently and I main ROB. I don't see that there are a lot of fresh ROB videos up here. I just got some recorded you guys can check them out. Tell me if you like them

http://www.twitch.tv/alienallen90/b/357470609

Games are at
33:34
36:10
39:41
42:51 (Robot ****)

There are a bunch of doubles at the beginning with my ROB, but I don't know if you all want to watch that

Copied from my post in Smash mods:

I believe some of my videos are being edited. I don't think you want to watch a 3 hour long recording. I do play a bit of R.O.B as well as a few other characters.

But if you don't mind watching the recording before it is edited then it is on
http://www.twitch.tv/jolte0n/b/347815720

I even do a bit of JCaesar trolling, don't get offended when I say JCaesars R.O.B is garbage it was really a joke.

Good R.O.B matches are at

Alpha Dash vs Professor Pro (Ivy) 41:12-54:12
Alpha Dash vs Jolteon (T.Link) 55:17-1:04:03
Alpha Dash vs Jolteon (Ike) 2:12:46-2:25:41

Is that 2.1? I think we're mostly focusing on 2.5 videos nowadays since ROB got some significant changes.

Since there's no ROB social, I guess I'll just post this here.

I suppose this is just a general tech question, but how do you accomplish the slide with the glide toss? When during the roll is the right time to press the c-stick?

Finally, someone else who plays rob right. I really like what I'm seeing. Just some quick notes
- Don't get too comfortable with the crossup bairs against lucas, sicne he has good up moves to hit you as you go over his head.
- I like the emphasis on ROB's offstage game, but for recovering you should be using fairs to extend rob's up b. Simply use a fair in the last part of the up b, where he starts to lose his vertical momentum, and you get a little extension for some more horizontal recovery and stalling in the air. Timing is just like extending M2's double jump in melee if that helps
- Good use of cc dsmash.
- Don't be afraid to use grounded side b to approach. It reflects projectiles and if they're a fastfaller like lucas, if you catch them jumping you get a follow up

I usually do the fair recovery thing with his up b. I do it a few times I'm pretty sure in those videos. Some times I screw up though and fair too early and end up canceling the up b. The only time I usually use grounded over b is if I hit them and I know they missed their tech, but I don't have anything to reach them on time. So I do that to him them and put me into position. Dsmash is like my favorite move of robs I think haha. So good against spacies

I never use gyro haha. Definitely my least favorite move. I've yet to see anyone use it usefully, so I'll just have toto wait until someone shows me what to do with it

Gyro isn't very good, but people haven't really caught on so you can get away with using it. Most players will put one on the stage then use it to glide toss around, but thats not really necessary when you have an airdash. I use it to edgeguard people who recover low, since the gyro moves slowly in the air and is difficult for characters like marth to get around

I got 5th at a Washington tournament this weekend. Lost to Gimpyfish 1-2 and lost to Bladewise's Peach 1-2. First time ever playing either of those characters with ROB haha. Didn't realize Peach could do so many combos to ROB. I couldn't get any footage though :/

Silent Wolf got first. Bladewise got 2nd, Gimpy got 3rd, and Eggz got 4th. If I had managed to beat Bladewise, there would have been a good chance I could have beat Eggz since we live together and I win most of the games, but he definitely could have won. So I guess I was kind of close ish to getting third, but I got outplayed, so it's cool. And Nah, none of my games got on stream haha. I wanted them to, but we were pressed for time, so we just rushed a lot of games on normal setups

Nobody offered me any critique. :( Does anyone other than JC and myself even play ROB anymore? :urg:
Anyway, I whipped out my favorite robot at Zenith against Kels and this sick peach tagged Gohan. Also used his help to win a $5 MM against this crazy Mario main/Snake secondary tagged Powdered Milkman. Unfortunately, that MM wasn't recorded, but the other two sets were. Enjoy and CRITIQUE, please! :smash:
Bubbaking (ROB) vs Kels (Fox) (Match 2)
Bubbaking (ROB) vs Gohan (Peach) (Match 2)
Only the matches involving ROB are directly linked with the time-stamps, but obviously, you can watch the entire sets in the videos.

That's what I kinda thought after the set, but I was hit with an EXTREME case of the jitters during it. I was really shaken by Kels catching up and winning the second game that I lost all confidence in my ROB. In hindsight, I probably should have stuck with ROB, but Snake is my established 'anti-spacee' char for when I'm not certain of what I should do. It just so happens that my supposed 'anti-spacee' char sucks against spacees. :rotfl: I'm also a lot worse against Falco, in general, than I am against Fox. Either way, what's done is done. I'm just glad that I had such a close match with Kels. Now I just need to look to the future and make my ROB unbeatable. :)

Dolphin netplay tourney this past sunday. Most of them have between 4-8 frames of delay. It's really nearly unnoticeable until around 5 frames, but it interferes progressively more as the delay increases. Take them with a frame grain of salt.

http://www.twitch.tv/freemukiller/b/505927375?t=29m Me vs PandaPanda's Pikachu (has pretty bad frame drops so it's not the best watch)
http://www.twitch.tv/freemukiller/b/505927375?t=1h11m35s Me vs bidooof's Samus/Ganon
http://www.twitch.tv/freemukiller/b/505927375?t=1h30m45s Me vs Tetraflora's Ness/TLink
http://www.twitch.tv/freemukiller/b/505927375?t=2h07m20s Me vs "MichaelTan"/Toilethumorr's MK (I skipped the first match here which is my M2, not worth watching really)

AND APPARENTLY ALL THESE HAVE DISAPPEARED FROM TWITCH MAN **** TWITCH
@EmuKiller do you have the setting or w/e on your twitch to save broadcasts beyond the first week or so?

Also this is the only tourney set I got recorded at Winter SmashCon on Jan 25th, guess I might as well post it now:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psCaTJU2vsg Me vs Crush's Ness/Sonic

Also will this tag @SOJ How do I tag SOJ
I played some games with him the other day but I don't know if he remembered to record
If so it would be greatly appreciated if you uploaded those (even if you keep them unlisted) and link them

Loser's finals and Grand Finals were never streamed because the room with the stream equipment wasn't big enough for the audience at the venue :(
