Using Final Smash articles on a normal character?

I want to get Super Sonic's Chaos Emerald explosion effect on Sonic as a taunt. Would it be possible to do that? I've managed to find the model, textures, and animations for the Chaos Emeralds, how would I go about importing them into Sonic's pac?
