Using a secondary for lucas

As varied as the roster is, I think it only makes sense to have a secondary, regardless of how good Lucas is or isn't. There are bound to be good matchups and bad matchups with any character. It's wise to have a backup plan to switch to if yours is a bad one.

Who would you recommend as a secondary? Should it be someone completely different, someone kinda similar, or someone super similar like ness?

I think similar as in another zoner. It just feels familar rather than playing with mario.
