<3 B-throw on this stage. Makes gimping like, so much easier. B-throw off stage, Bair or Fair to either damage and send away and continue, or just Bair to kill. :)
U smash is pretty nice here too as it can kill sometimes here. :O
Oh, and Uthrow->Sping->Uair can work really well here... if they opponent doesn't hit you first... hehehe.

Have you ever F-Throw Star K.O.ed somebody on the top of Corneria?

It's awesome.

Throws are too good on this stage.

Is that for Corneria? if it is that was one of the shortest debates I've ever been to also I like the the bottom part of corneria when you can constantly hit someone one the wall it racks up a good amount of damage.

Um..we're not even close to being done 580...

F-throw Star K.O? Too good.

I've gotten a Charizard stuck against the wall with a whole jab combo. I don't think he DI'd right or something, but it was hilarious. Anyone know if that can be escape able for all characters? If not, jab locks work on everyone anyway.

I think the biggest things for this stage are
1) Too easy to kill
2) Throws rock at everything
3) Jab lock

I'm pretty some jab locks by Sonic are easy to get out of.

between jabs are 2 frames, so anybody with a 1-frame move can get out... I think a good example of this is Marth's Dolphin Slash, which can be activated instantly, and the first 4 frames make Marth invincible.

Hmm that's true and there is a chance that marth can get out with his counter but then again I could be wrong...

Kinzer, you have to get up before you can do an Up-B. Unless I'm thinking jab-lock=infinite on standing characters? O_O

Peach has an umbrella... that COULD be used to get out of a lock, but don't take my word for it.

As for Ike he's doomed.

And Aegh, I meant the lock on standing characters.

Of course if you get an opponent unteched it's an infinite.

Well I guess it pretty much safe bet saying that there is a small chance that a character could get out but that's a small chance am I correct?

quoted from the thread "Counterpicking made Easy"
1. its actually great for spindashing on the left side, because you can cancel the SD into a up tilt that slides rediculously far.
2. gimping is hard to do in thist game to begin with, any sonic main will tell you that they will always choose to kill flat out with a back throw as opposed to trying to gimp ppl all the time.
3. up smash, up tilt and up throw all can be used as legit kill moves on corneria, they kill at moderate-high damage, ESPECIALLY at the top of the fin.
4. the planes dont kill anymore, and sometimes i think spicdashes go right through the lasers, where as they can completely shut down, or otherwise discordinate the opponent.
5. it is just you hating the level

the slight slopes can mess up CGs adn some peoples auto cancels and you can set up for kill moves off the fin.

being able to kill with throws with sonic is seriously a godsend.
its a great stage for him

btw, never EVER use it as a counter pick against anyone that has a fingay or wall gay
D3 will infinite you
ike will spam aether on the fin AND infinite you on the wall
MK will spam shuttle loop on the fin
pit may be able to inifinte you on teh wall with f-throw (this one im unsure about)
Fox can infinite you with shine
and so on...

Ah, thanks for the input KID.

Oh, I also forgot that you can do that crazy cancel-a-spindash-with-a-move-while-going-up-a-slope-tech.
That could be useful.

basiclally

1/3 of the cast has some way that they can wall gay or fin gay or something broken they can do on teh right side of corneria so if you are ever losing by percent or stock, all they will do is camp the right side of the stage, so that way if you never go over there, they will win because most tourneys have a time limit and if you have less percent on the same stock when time goes up, you win. check my extensive corneria post on the last page for more details...

Oh is it the F-tilt on the top of stage or is it where you constantly jab a opponent on the wall thing?
Dude, if you want to know what you missed, you should just read the posts that you missed. The answer to your question is on this very page.

Alright, I have to get the Brinstar and Corneria write-up done before we move along, or it'll be too much for me to handle, but one thing we haven't discussed yet are the ratings for the two.

Brinstar ?/5
Corneria ?/5
I think a 3.5 or 4 for Brinstar, and a 4 or 4.5 for Corneria.

Thoughts?

Finally! Camalange Got Less Lazy!

True story.

I finally did the write up for Brinstar, so let the Frigate Orpheon discussion begin :D

I also replaced the link to Umby's Index Thread with Chis's new one.

Well Frigate Orpheon is Kind of a bad Sonic stage with the up side down hazzard but if you truly mastered it any see when it's coming you could be better on it but that's just me so anybody else has anything to say?

Sonic has less problems on Frigate than most people. We don need no ledges, we can be relatively safe on the right side of the first stage. 2nd stage is sort of anti-CG, so help us. The random platforms on the side can be KO places, but they can also safe the opponent. It's a bit neutral I say. BTW, stage turnaround is no problem for Sonic, when it turns I always do one jump, always end up in the middle.
