is that poll even fair? A good poll doesnt have just "yes" or "No". a good poll has multiple options. Could be worsed a bit better as well
This poll has "Yes" and "No". So that's 2 options; meaning that it has multiple options. Though I also think that it needs more options (3 specifically) to cover all interesting cases.

oh yeah, by more then one I mean at least 3. At least with 3 you get people who say "It would be cool but I dont think do" rather then a hard. biesed yes or no. Im in the "It would be cool but I think the game is ok the way it is"

Imagine believing Vergeben in 2019.

All due respect, Lesley, but Vergeben isn't a reliable source. He has hardly been reliable outside of Smash. And even within Smash, he destroyed what credibility he had a year ago with the Minecraft boss thing.
Great timing. Because I'm just waking up with actual doubts on Vergeben. To me, he's the kind of person who just waltzes in and says who it is, then just that. I don't believe him to be that kind of person who Thanos snaps everyone. And to think he'd say all these companies? Ha! He's scared out of his ass now!

TGA leak ninjas are by far, if I assume, some of the best leak ninjas in history. This is why their sources are scared ****less once that show pops up.

Assuming that Vegre got everything wrong about Minecraft, that's a big blow. That post he made about said Minecraft content is pretty sketchy, considering we're past the BK patch and yet no sign of the content has been found, when in fact, it made sense to put in there. And most of the Mii content published by the DLC packs, excluding the BK line, have something related to the character. Joker got my bois Minato and Yu, Hero got his assortment of characters, and Terry pulled in Nakoruru (in compensation for the lack of Mai), Ryo and Iori. If you think abou tit, yes, the BK set SHOULD have come with Minecraft content but there was none.

Tbh, yeah. I'm doubting Verge. Maybe not trusting him by this point. To think I was so naive with putting my faith on him, but yeah. I'll doubt him from now.

My gut's back on either KOS-MOS, Morrigan, and some princess stuff. Daisy Theory.

So yeah, I don't trsut the guy.

2nd Part of yesterday's video released:

Tlww who is top 1?

Edit: It's Pauline then. Thnx @JDCabrera

I'm still taking Vergeben's word for it. Yes, he does get things wrong sometimes, but he's had a very good track record for the most part in regards to Smash Ultimate.
While I do respect your part, it's that he's not to be trusted AT THIS TIME. Sure he gets stuff right sometimes, but still, he's in a grave position with TGA.

This is the only time, I think, to not trust him completely. That multi deconfirm statement is preeetttyy much fishy if you ask me. It's like a someone activating a failsafe.

Verge's record as far as Smash goes is pretty solid. He called out Ice Climbers, Ridley, and simon weeks before E3. He also got Ken and Incineroar. He even predicted the Ninja Turtles would be in Injustice. I'm going to take his word for it when he lists companies that aren't associated with FP5.

Assuming that, Verge and Sabi do have conflicting sources, though it all depends on what the final say is.

I'm just gonne sit out and wait for the Game Awards' final reveal.

#MeToo . But I do think some skepticism is good. It should be noted that, while he's gotten the rest of the DLC right so far, Vergeben done goofed when it came to TGA 2018, thinking Hero would be reavealed there when, instead, we got the clown prince :ultjoker:.

He’s been piggy-backing for all of the DLC. Datamining leaked Hero, a ResetEra mod leaked Banjo, & Nintendo UK leaked SNK (& Terry was the most obvious pick). Once again, Vergeben is not a reliable source.

I second your opinion, shoukd we get KOS-MOS. It'll be a big blow to his credibility for posting said list.

He also didn't get Joker first, and claimed that Hero would be first, but look at where we are now.

Did I miss a leak talking about Kos-mos? My friend mentioned her a couple days ago, and he didn't really know who she was so I imagine it must've been from a leak. Is there someone saying Kos-mos, or just Xenosaga stuff in general, is getting announced?

There's a good probability of KOS-MOS appearing as the final DLC fighter since Verge and Sabi are at disagreement on KOS-MOS' character.

With all the deconfirms Verge did, especially Bamco (the company that owns KOS-MOS), he got wind of said character and begun checking his sources. So far, he hasn't said anything except "I don't know". Even Sabi is quite at confusion in regards to her. The character hasn't even been seriously discussed and both their sources seem vague.

Now that I think about it, he may just not be reliable for TGA, as Geoff himself said that none of the show had leaked. Granted, he may have just said this to save face. Not only that, but Vergeben also got the order of #1 wrong. Anyways, I don't see how what you mentioned is evidence of the Big V piggybacking. Vergilben knew of :ulthero: (or "Erdrick" at least) long before the datamines, and he confirmed that the SNK fighter was, indeed, :ult_terry:. I'm a little unsure about Banjo, though. Of course, there'a all of the base roster stuff (especially the Banner Hoax). I'm not gonna say that Virginben is 100% right all the time, but he does, indeed, have some merit. Again, displaying skepticism is healthy and I'm a bit Wishiwashi with Viagraben's latest bit of info, but Vergeben is reliable, if at least, somewhat. Pic unrelated.

I mean, TGA is not the season for Verge it seems. That has the best leak security in the gaming scene, so I doubt all of it.

Even then, Tansut & Imran mentioned another SE character (& Hero/Erdrick in the former’s case) long before Vergeben. Likewise, he said the most obvious SNK character after the initial SNK leak, so that wasn’t a hard guess. Since his Minecraft disaster, he’s basically been trailing others. And his track record elsewhere isn’t much better (in fact, it’s worse). I honestly don’t get why people still take him seriously.

And now he's having difficulty with trying to say KOS-MOS. And we're only a matter of time before TGA. It's still fair game for everyone, but in the end, let's hope for the best!

Regrardless of leaks, I'm sure FP5 will be revealed tonight, so by this time tomorrow we can discuss who it is. I still feel like Lara Croft has a good chance, but I'm also not ruling out other chracters like Master Chief, who I personally would be way more excited for.

I have a theory that Reggie may say something at TGA regarding the second DLC wave. Perhaps it is themed and he'll be there to introduce a new character.

Thatbis my hunch with Reggie all this time. I mean, he was still with Nintendo during the DLC dev cycle...

Source? .-.
Likewise, he said the most obvious SNK character after the initial SNK leak, so that wasn’t a hard guess.
And Geese Howard was in Tekken 7, as was Mai "Not in Smash" Shiranui in Dead or Alive 6. Granted, Terry Bogard might be the first thing that people think of when they think of SNK (either him or Metal Slug). However, until BengeVir and/or Wasabi confirmed that it was Terry, people were speculating Nakoruru. Additionally, dismissing Terry as an "obvious pick" is like dismissing Alucard or Master Chief as an "obvious pick" for their respective companies, Konami and Microsoft.
Since his Minecraft disaster, he’s basically been trailing others.
What are you talking about? He already said that it could've been incorrect/innacurate. Also, I've seen Virginiaben backtrack on the Minecraft stuff, saying things like "his source is old" or something.
And his track record elsewhere isn’t much better (in fact, it’s worse).
Nice ad hominem. Also, Vergebenny's record with something like Injustice or Dragon Ball FighterZ isn't related to his record with Ultimate, which has already proven to be much more accurate as far as content.

Pic unrelated.

It's still KOS-MOS.
And now we're pretty much guaranteed a double reveal.

The last time we had this long of a drought between character reveals was between Joker to E3, which was a double reveal.
Especially likely if the next Nintendo Direct starts with a Smash reveal.

Maybe if it's a wait until January. If Nintendo plans on revealing the final FP character this month, then I wouldn't count on a double reveal. Now that I think about it, a double reveal could happen soon, but it's not guaranteed.

I can't believe I stayed up until almost midnight to watch TGA. What a disappointment.

No announcement, which means we're back to square 1.

I'm pretty divided if we will ever get a Direct this month. Maybe next month. Or probably during February stark.

i am from europe so i stayed up on purpose just to see that reveal..but nope now today i feel like **** due to me sleeping less then usual for nothing -.-
i really should stop believing any type of leaks and i honestly also just want it have it over with,
or getting my faves deconfirmed everytime by some well known leakers without seeing any proof of evidence is no fun either
why do people actually blindly believe everything Verge & Sabi says? >~>

but smash ultimate apparently is the best fighting game of the year though..well not thanks to the online though lol

I too once did believe Vergeben and his leaks, thought thanks to what was shown here, I already doubt him. It's just that he's this oh-so reliable source which has the characters in question, yet does have slip ups all the time. Everyone knows that, but they still believe him nonetheless. In fact, we are now past the Game Awards and he STILL has not confirmed KOS-MOS, which makes many believe to have her be the final fighter.

Smash ultimate will last for so many good years, I can tell.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't think KOS-MOS has much of a chance for FP5. Think about it. All of the fighters so far have appealed to different demographics:
:ultjoker:: Newest generation of gamers, PS4 fans, fans of new JRPGs
:ulthero::Oldest generation of gamers, fans of older JRPGs (and older RPGs as a whole)
:ultbanjokazooie:: Older (but not oldest) generation of gamers, western fans, without question the most widely demanded newcomer so far
:ult_terry:: Fans of traditional fighting games, SNK fans as a whole, Latin American fans

KOS-MOS doesn't fill any missing demographic segments. Additionally, she's not very widely known. Her individual games haven't been localized, which is a huge issue. I know that Sakurai said that being recognizable is less important than being fun to play, but it's still possible that he takes recognition into account. The biggest thing going for her is Namco's history of throwing her into games, but we don't know if Namco had any authority over thee DLC choices. It was Nintendo that gave Sakurai the list of potential newcomers, not Namco.

I'm not saying that she has a bad chance of being in, I'm saying don't romanticize her chances. Because to be honest, I think another fighter like Lara Croft or Doomslayer has a better chance.

Also, who is "many" who believe she is FP5 because she hasn't been deconfirmed by Verge? I'd like to see that. And haven't you been all over Verge and associated leakers for getting TGA wrong?

Hero's default skin is Eleven.
So he's basically the equivalent of Incineroar. Though Pokémon and Dragon Quest are old series, the characters themselves are modern.

So our DLC roster is new, new, old, old.
As much as I'd rather have anyone but KOS-MOS, she has both an old design and a new design from Xenoblade 2, so she could count as either a modern or legacy character.

Until Sabi or Vergeben says different, I am solidly Team Real for KOS-MOS.

Hardcore JRPG fans, Xeno- enthusaiasts, and possibly female demographic.

No...possibly female demographic as a whole. Probably the closest to a new female fighter in this pass.

Europe got Bayonetta. Japan got Hero. North America got Banjo, and Latin America got Terry.
Maybe Australia really likes KOS-MOS. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'd say (if all leaks are horse****) Lara Croft has the best chance overall for female representation. This is for both FP5 and Post-Pass.
