Well if were on the topic of Pokemon then. How about discussing the possibility and chances of a Gen 8 Pokemon being among the DLC? Would be for promotional reasons for one.

It doesn't seem very likely to me. If the game is out in, say, November, that leaves not much time until DLC deadline.

I thought it looked really nice myself.

For me, graphics just need to be nice. Mind blowing is great, but it's not the most important thing for me.

I think at a certain point, you're going to plateau with how mindblowing your graphics can be using an artstyle like Pokemon's.

The types of things you use to advertise your "crazy new graphics engine" or whatever like reflections, smooth lighting, particle effects, water physics, and whatever else I'm missing aren't usually used in Pokemon.

However, it is an artstyle that ages phenomenally well for sure though.

Something I've wanted Pokémon to do for a while is to do what the Pokémon anime does and have the Pokémon League be an actual five-round tournament instead of a string of battles against four guys and a Champion.

An element of randomness to the "Elite Four/Champion" set-up would give each player a unique experience in the End Game.

Before I head off to bed, I'd like to add a little more to this idea.

In order to have a Five-Round Single Elimination Tournament, you would need 32 contestants (unless the Champion fight is pre-determined, in which case only 16 are needed). You could fill this in with Gym Leaders, Story Important characters and randos.

It'd be fun (if not necessarily satisfying*) if you could enter the Pokémon League and see your rival at any point; you might see them in the first round, or in the Finals, or you might never see them at all. (*as an aside, you can have an eventual fight with your rival with changing scripts depending on how the tournament went down; maybe the rival is angry because he never got to fight you, or demands a rematch after you beat him in the first round).

You could even have cameos from other games in the series, like there's a chance you can face Red, Blue, Steven or Cynthia in the tournament.

I want like, Monolith Soft to work with Game Freak. Imagine a Pokemon game with environments and creatures running about in the wild like Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The bad part is that it'd pull Monolith Soft away from their own projects, but I guess it could only be the environment specialists.

You know, what the hell ever happened to Genius Sonority? They could help out.

I ****ing loved Pokemon Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness. They weren't magnificent or anything but they were cool little console Pokemon games.

SM is better than XY and ORAS. I really like SM.

SM had a good story, the characters were vibrant, and they all had character.

SM was a good step for future games. USUM is the best game to hunt for shiny legendaries. SM is too hated in this thread.
