Yes, yes, yes and yes.

The plot is negligible but the actual story and writing are mighty fine, not making use of characters and some weird endings aside. Gameplay is great, despite not having some QoL changes that later games brought. It's hard though.

It looks and sounds good, I'd say give it a shot.

But there is a difference between easy mode and "I don't actually want to play the game" mode.

Okay, so no, you're not going to play it.

But to answer your question, the story's weird and unconventional.
The combat's fun if not brutal
The writing and characters are also incredibly weird and stilted but kinda charming in its own way.
You mainly play it for the setting and combat than anything.

I see no reason not to have the option to play a game on an easier mode if you want to

If you wanna play it on a harder mode you can do that too

The more options the better

On Christmas Day, 2013 the nintendo servers were down, probably due to traffic. The day after, we were supposed to get Pokemon Bank where we could store Pokemon and transfer them from older games, but due to the shutdown, they delayed it. we had to until February, FEBRUARY! I want never to experience that madness again.
