I think if we're going to be any sort of realistic about this, the chances of Kasumi being an echo are really, really, really, really low.

Her weapon is far longer than Joker's (Looking at her art, it's Minato's one-handed sword level of length) and her mannerisms with said weapon are entirely different from Jokers. She doesn't flip and spin it, she twirls it and pokes with it, after all she is some sort of gymnast showgirl.
Her gun too is a long barreled musket looking type weapon, which would probably not look great considering Joker's penchant for acrobatic gun maneuvers like raining down bullets or spraying in a circle, especially if she goes into Gun Special and starts firing 3 round bursts from that thing.
And on a personal note, I highly doubt Soejima is going to retread the same ground and give her a humanoid Persona with wings and claws like he did for Joker.

But then again, she is all black with red gloves so maybe Sakurai will do something with her.
Joker with a shotgun, to make gameplay with her a little slower in response to people who complained about being styled by Joker.

Incidentally, this would make the "no-guns fan rule" deconfirmation even funnier.

Dark Samus uses entirely different weapons than Samus, and still became an echo.
I mean, there are characters that are very different from they originals in terms of moveset in their original games, but are still made echoes.
Biggest example being :ultdarksamus:.

So it's definitely in the realm of possibility.

Yeah but Dark Samus is essentially a suit of armor which they stripped of her Dark Samus abilities.

Kasumi would have her sword length, her gun, (and potentially her persona) that would be very different from Joker's and can't easily be removed from the design,

Alright:

I’m thinking of changing my pfp into one of these two options someday. Which is better though?

Hey Persona fans.

If I just turn the game down to easy mode can I enjoy the story without putting any real effort into its various JRPG conventions?
You could close your eyes and mash A on easy mode. And hell there's an easy-easy mode after that.

But where's the fun in that?
That's like playing Phoenix Mode in Fire Emblem.

Look, I didn't want to, but here.

Me and Luigi The President Luigi The President saved you a seat. If we came to terms on our most wanted for Smash, ya might as well take a seat.

There's free cookies if you'd like. :drshrug:
Y'all just got your most wanted (for a few months) in a whole ass new game where she has a design, a big role, is a party member...and you think you got it bad?

...it don't even matter if she's an Echo or not at this point man, she's like...she's a thing, chill

Indeed you could. You could also go even further and choose "Safety mode", where even if you die in the middle of a battle, you can revive with full HP and SP every single time.

Kasumi as another Marth
Speaking of Kasumi as a Marth, have people started calling Joker a Marth?
Like how people call Cloud a "Modern Marth", Shulk a "Future Marth", Link an "Elf Marth", etc.?

It would be cool if Vyse showed up and they somehow incorporated his Valkiria chronicles moves into his moveset alongside his Skies of Arcadia moves.
I think it would just be more fitting if his moveset is from his own game

The VC outfit can be his alt

His final smash tho
either this:

or have the entire Blue Rogues crew do a assault attack:

would be perfect

Games must be played exactly the way I play them. If not, you're doing it wrong.

Now, here's my ten page essay on why Banana Gun only is the most optimal way to play Smash...

It's because I never finish JRPGs and I don't want to commit 100 hours to a game whose gameplay doesn't interest me.

I just want to get the character moments and music so I can be one of the cool kids in the Smash Bros. Ultimate Social Thread.

Unlike the Coconut gun, it doesn't fire in spurts.

But if it shoots ya, it'll still hurt.

Banana Gun?

Steel Diver is the optimal gun item.

Well I recommend trying it at least on the standard difficulty

Persona 5 isn't difficult all things considered and it's a really fun combat system that really shines when you're put on the spot and have to use all your options to win.

At the very least, Phoenix Mode is good for when you want to get the Support Conversations, since grinding is no fun either.

That said, I'm not against Phoenix Mode After you beat the game. But Phoenix Mode should've been an unlockable that you get after completing the game on Normal difficulty once.
