I mean, even aside from that stuff

Nintendo's currently active IPs are

* Mario
* Zelda
* Pokemon
* Smash
* Kirby
* Metroid(?)
* Donkey Kong(?)
* Splatoon
* Fire Emblem

SEGA's active IPs are

* Sonic
* Yakuza
* House of the dead
* Valkyria
* SUPER MONKEY BALL
* Mushiking
* Daytona USA
* Phantasy Star
* Shenmue(?)
I mean, Metroid's had a game come out 2 years ago, has one in development and according to Vergeben, they're working on another 2D game now too. Also DK just had a Switch port a while ago

Shenmue doesn't count because they aren't publishing it.

And are Daytona/HotD/Monkey Ball active?

Hence the (?)

It's not functionally dead like F-to-pay-Zero-respect, but the last game was a remake, the upcomign game is kind of in a state of limbo and the 2D game is vaporware until confirmed.

DK hasn't had a new, true Country game since Tropical Freeze in 2014.

Perfectly balanced.

As all things should be.

They still own the IP.
I'm not sure if we should count it though.

They licensed the IP to independent studio Ys Net for a game published by Deep Silver and funded by Sony.

Sega is about as responsible for Shenmue III as I am.

Yeah, Ninty got to Gilva, so all Ninty rips are done for.

Both Brawl and Gilva got hit hard with this. I'm not talking about Crunchii, since he was taken down for different reasons.

Brawl and Gilva aren't shut down. They just can no longer do Nintendo songs.

Crunchii... isn't coming back.

Wait nevermind, I guess Brawl IS gone, but... he was there yesterday.

I wluld like to say that last time Brawl went down, it wasn't because if Ninty. Maybe with their new rules, this time was different?
CBS and Viacom have been confirmed to have done the Fusion Dance. Which means the amount of companies that owns everything is slightly smaller I guess.
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy... reunited?

Jeez, didn't know they all got hit that hard. I guess the Nintendo ninjas really don't joke around then.
It's every company. Bots are prevalent and cheap. Every company is throwing them at Youtube and Youtube immediately complies on their behalf. There are even middleman businesses now that charge the companies to use their bots so they can profit off the Youtube takedowns.

I have a video that was ready to release yesterday but it was flagged by a bot for Sony Entertainment Films Japan within two minutes of uploading and it's blocked from view worldwide for a mandatory 30 days until a human from Sony responds. Which they likely won't. The bot is just an automatic process that talks to another automatic process to automatically process things.

So this is my response:

What’s the origin of your name?
My user handle is usually Storm but I added the C for when back in the day I had the full username STORM CYCLONE. I landed on Storm because when you were 14 you wanted a short, catchy name. And it stuck.

Funnily enough I was just ruminating about how I added the C because I assumed someone else already had Storm but a quick search shows that isn't so.

...where do I go to ask for a name change?

Nah, I just talk too much already.

Seriously though I was joking. These things are fun, not popularity contests.
Sorry about that, I’ve just been looking forward to this for a while and I just hope I don’t get brushed aside, it’s likely I’m worrying over nothing.
