Let me also take the time to say I hate Pinterest because it makes it impossible to find an image's creator. This isn't mine but I love it.

Pinterest, imgur, tumblr, none of them really make it easy unless the person sharing it links back to the creator's original page, which could also be on a multitude of other various art sharing sites.

The internet's too damn big.

Anyways I had this really weird dream about Banjo being in smash except only in moveset alone, Duck hunt was in some trailer and was using the moves that Banjo would if he got in except that was literally the only thing changed except for animations, it was really weird.

Merric's honestly like, the best. Here's some background stuff.

So, he grew up in a noble house in Altea, a family known for their prowess as knights. However Merric was always physically weak, so he knew he'd never be cut out for knighthood. Meanwhile, as a child he was friends with Marth and Elice, the prince and princess of Altea, and they all grew really close. They'd often help Merric out whenever he needed it, and whenever he was injured, Elice (Marth's older sister and a trained cleric) would heal him. He naturally fell in love with her, and he wanted to find a way to repay both Marth and Elice's kindness. He decided to become a mage, against his family's wishes and with the encouragement of Marth and Elice. And then when he's gone Altea is usurped, Elice is taken as a hostage, and Marth is forced into exile. Luckily Merric's a full-blown wizard now and joins Marth in his quest to take back Altea. Also after Elice is saved they get together and he becomes Marth's best-friend-in-law.

He's also a total dork.
