I was pretty confused about why didnt they color the heart black. From what I remeber they never painted it

Except that's explicitly wrong.

Pikachus with a heart shaped tail are 100% female, flat tailed Pikachus are male.

It's like, the main sexual differences between Pikachus, and 'but older games' don't count because it's been retconned since Gen4, and they've stuck with it since.

I dont believe in absolute retcons lol.

so we at least know what we're talking about now.
If you want to base yourself on just modern games that's fine.

Speaking of gender differences, did you know that Greninja in Smash is confirmed male? Ash-Greninja can only be male in the games, and since Ash-Greninja appears in his Final Smash... yeah.

On the same note, Spiky-Eared Pichu can only be a girl, and she's an alt in Ult, technically Pichu also has a female alt, though unlike Pikachu, there's nothing implying that the basic Pichu is a male.

That's absolutely it but like why? I have a very similar personality to one of my best friends and they don't feel like that. Admittedly it's probably cause the only friend I have in my household is my Sister We're both artists and both like Anime from time to time so we're cool.

It really doesnt need to be a big deal. older pokemon games had female pikachus without notches. that's all. so im just saying those without hearts can be either. you dont need to react all surprised just because of that
