So I wanted to comment on this but I ran out of time. I have about 10 minutes to write this out but we will have open Spirit submissions until the 13th. My original plan was on-par to what Cashregister had. Basically, we will be doing themed Spirit submissions. The first one I will choose but, from there, I will assign a number based on your order in the developer list. I will auto-generate a number prior to a themed spirit submissions and the number that comes up will give the user the freedom to choose that week’s theme. The user is then removed from the list until the next cycle.

I wanted to stave this announcement off until the weekend but now is better as we are discussing it currently.

Also, by going with Ashley, you also opened the door to a Fire Emblem job, Gen 8 job, Switch character job, and any series with a single character rep aside from Wario job lol.

This gives me literally no time to post all my backlog spirits, can I please post them in batch now so they don’t get lost to time?

Yes, feel free to post them now. I’ll just buckle down and get them done. Please include the game they appear in as we list the spirits (or try to) in chronological order.

Well... you weren't kidding when you said you had a lot...
I don't know why but I really want to protect Mad Rat, I have some reasoning but mostly because I like Mad Rat Dead and rhythm game :smirk:

I was actually going to make a Heavy & Bomb spirit with the Gravity Tether but this is way cooler, I'll admit.

I don't have any Spirits on the backburner aside from the Lina one I already posted (apologies if I did so while Spirits were closed), so I'll just reiterate it. (The other Spirit I shared then does not fit the rule of "must be relevant to Nintendo," and I feel less strongly about it now, so I'm leaving it off.)

Lina
Origin:
Blade Strangers (2018; released on Switch)
Class: ✩✩✩ Ace
Type: Primary/Attack
Trait: Shooting Items Power ↑
  • Main Puppet Fighter: Zero Suit Samus (white)
    • Additional Puppet: Ridley (Meta)
  • Stage: Final Destination
  • Music Track: Opening Stage
  • Match: Stamina
  • Rules/Conditions:
    • Only Daybreak will appear
    • Items are attracted to the enemy
Fun fact: I almost picked her portrait art for this, but it didn't really do justice to how massive Devian (the weird machinery floating around her body) is.

Why are Headdy and AiAi listed as Sonic characters? Specifically when Ristar, the ChuChus, Flicky (who enhances from Moto Bug) and the Bonanza Bros. aren’t?
I listed them as Sonic the Hedgehog/Sega for the same reason as Pac-Man. As for those others, I have no idea who any of them are and didn’t bother checking where they come from (and that’s usually more than half of the Spirits you submit lol). I will list them under Sega as the others.

Please remember that we are currently working on Ashley’s moveset. Below is a description of Fame & Wario that can help you craft a potential moveset...

Fame & Wario

Announced in the 20XX August Direct and released in late September of the same year, Fame & Wario is the latest title in the long-running, genre-defying Wario series. Since it's releasing late enough in its consoles lifespan for a new Smash game to be in its own promotional cycle (and with the fact that we don't know what kind of console it's on), this game isn't a tech demo like its predecessor. Therefore, games can have normal controls, though some do still use motion controls (I think it's safe to assume they're possible, given Nintendo's last 3 home consoles use them).

Since this is the bigger and better sequel, F&W tops G&W's 16 minigames with its own 22, which are better split between single- and multiplayer. Gamer returns (since I think everyone can agree that was a lot of fun), reframed as 9-Volt filming a YouTube-esque challenge trying to outwit his mother. That, Crazy Galaxy and Wario's pirate movie leave 19 minigames totally up to the imagination. Below are my pitches for what these minigames are, but given the disjointed nature of the game these can be easily replaced by others' suggestions. You guys can probably come up with much better and/or funnier suggestions than I can!

I'll start with Crazy Galaxy, since that one's obviously the one that'll affect Ashley the most. Given Nintendo's clear missive of making Ashley a breakout star, this one gets renamed Ashley's Crazy Galaxy. The storyline for this one sees Ashley as a teenager, alongside four other girls, who attend an astronaut academy. After being flung across the universe, the group must fight their way back through waves of aliens. It plays like a vertical shmup, with each of the five girls being a playable character (their stats differ, with Ashley naturally being the jack of all trades). All the characters have the ability to "befriend" aliens; there are two types of attack that the player can instantly switch between, one offensive and one "friendly". The "friendly" attack takes more hits to defeat an alien but once it does, it'll add the alien as an orbiting helper (most of them function like an extra weapon, but some have other properties such as healing and shielding). The game can be played with up to five players, but it gets more difficult and bullet hellish the more people are playing. If the player gets through the game befriending all the alien bosses, they'll unlock a different ending and alternate costumes for the five girls (including Ashley's iconic look).

As has been shown in concept art, Ashley doesn't wield her trademark wand in this game but instead carries a guitar, which she uses to blast soundwaves at aliens. Shooting projectiles isn't anything new for Ashley however, so her guitar would probably just be used for smash attacks, aerials or taunts in Smash. The mechanic of switching between offensive and "friendly" attacks could possibly be translated to Smash in some manner, though it seems like something that'd be the focus of a moveset and I'd rather Ashley be mainly based on WarioWare (y'know, the actual good games). The orbiting aliens are probably the best bet for a moveset, they could be something as minor as her shield animation, to a grab, to a tilt or aerial, to a Mega Man-esque Down Special. Crazy Galaxy concept art shows most of the girls have their own vehicles, with Ashley getting a heavily-armored dark grey truck with what appears to be a subwoofer in the front (which I guess can fly through space? I dunno lol). That could be her on-screen appearance maybe? The color schemes of the other playable characters could work as palette swaps for her, that might be a neat reference but there's plenty of WarioWare stuff to reference without them. The other girls' weapons (a giant wrench, a pan that throws veggies, a megaphone, and guns) could be a part of her moveset as well, but only a small part, and honestly most of them don't even fit Ashley's character.

Other minigames are briefly described in a spoiler tag, but I can't imagine most of them having an influence on Ashley's moveset.

Wario: King of the Seas
This self-serving narrative sees Wario as a pirate captain, invading Kitchen Island and stealing treasure from the Black Sugar Gang, culminating in an assault on Captain Syrup's Castle, with Syrup herself as the final boss. It plays like a first-person on-rails shooter, and motion controls are used to aim.

Jimmy T.: Rhythm Fightin'
Combining Jimmy's passion for music and sports, he styles himself as a disco kung fu fighter and goes out to fight crime and save damsels. This would play out as a simple rhythm game, something like Parappa the Rapper. It can be played with up to 6 players, competing for the best score.

Mona: Code M.O.N.A.
Mona stars as a James Bond-style superspy, tuxedo and all. In her movie, she has to fight an organization with world-conquering plans led by the evil Vanessa (her rival in Touched). The game is a very watered-down stealth game, with Mona sneaking past guards in order to reach the end of each level.

Dribble & Spitz: Mad Chauffeuring
Dribble & Spitz's movie is a gritty, introspective piece, showing the duo's taxi business hitting rock bottom with the rise of ride-sharing. They decide to up their game to stay competitive. The game is a Crazy Taxi clone, with the duo driving around Diamond City, picking up fares and taking them to their destinations as fast as possible. There's a two player mode where Dribble and Spitz each has their own cab, and the players can sabotage each other by crashing into each other.

Kat & Ana: Sister-jutsu
Your stereotypical ninja movie, chock-full of betrayals and suspense; except for the fact that all the actors are the twins' pets. This game plays like a puzzle platformer - Kat & Ana have different skills, and they must be used smartly to navigate the two of them through several stages. This is two player only.

Orbulon: Asteroid Dodger
A cheesy 50's alien flick (since that's what Orbulon intercepted, and therefore his only knowledge of movies) that sees our alien buddy pursued by mysterious figures (revealed in the end to be the girls from Crazy Galaxy, to Orbulon's terror). This is a physics-based game where the player has to propel and steer Orbulon's ship through asteroid fields, with stuff like other aliens and mini black holes complicating matters.

Dr. Crygor: Crying Gore
A parody of the movie Raging Bull, but in red and black instead of black and white. Crygor builds himself a giant mecha and goes off to fight in mecha boxing battles, which use motion controls for each hand. It's a reference to Teleroboxer for the Virtual Boy.

Penny: Mathematical Match
Penny comes up with an algorithm that makes perfect couples, so she makes a rom-com where she plays the matchmaker to many lucky couples. Penny organizes a speed dating event to test out her algorithm and speed up the process, leading to shenanigans. This game plays like Diner Dash except instead of food, you're matching people with other people, and sometimes the date doesn't go as planned so you have to rematch the people quickly before they leave.

Mike: Robot Detective Mike
A satire of film noir, Mike decides to apply his dazzling mental capabilities to investigate crimes. The player, as Mike, is given a vantage point with three angles from which to view a crowded area filled with Fronks. He's told to watch out for several objectives, some of which are red herrings. At the end, he has to mark which Fronks are responsible for each crime that took place, being able to review only the footage he took while watching for the first time. This can be played by several players, which turns it into a needlessly complicated version of the first game's Party.

Young Cricket: Kung Fu II
For some unfathomable reason, the Kung Fu minigame from Game & Wario also returns.

Lulu: Once Upon a Time in the Wet
A Western starring the new character from Gold, this would be a multiplayer top-down twin-stick shooter, using water guns in a desert setting.

Red: The Demon Next Door
Since he's completely absent from Ashley's game, Red gets his own starring role for the first time! Shot in the style of a found footage horror film, Red's movie is about a neighbor of Ashley who intrudes in her mansion, and is haunted by Red. Gameplay resembles the Luigi's Mansion minigame from Nintendo Land, with several Reds instead of ghosts.

18-Volt: Rap Battle
18-Volt challenges anyone who will face him to a rap duel. This is basically a souped up version of Mike's minigame from the first game.

5-Volt: Kingdom of Homework
In an effort to get 9-Volt to pay attention to his schoolwork, 5-Volt makes a fantasy movie starring 9-Volt as a prince captive by the Dragon of Excessive Gaming and herself as a knight setting out to rescue him. The game is an extremely basic hack-and-slash that can be played cooperatively (with the second player as a color-swapped 5-Volt) and is very short.

Master Mantis: Bonsai Barber
A simple, relaxing bonsai-trimming minigame, based on the WiiWare title of the same name. There's a freeplay mode, where you can make your bonsai as you please, and a challenge mode where you have to complete instructions.

Scooter Joe: Race against Time
Joe the dog, frequently a supporting character in Mona's stories, wasn't tasked by Wario with making a movie; instead, he's Mona's assistant. The story is instead framed as a news report, showing the chain of events that led to catastrophe. Joe notices that Mona's spy character always carries a signature watch that can shoot lasers, but Mona forgot to take it to her shoot! Joe panics, grabs the watch, takes Mona's scooter and speeds off to give it to her. The game is your standard horizontal autoscroller, with Joe controlled with motion controls. He's able to use the watch to shoot obstacles. Sometimes the bird's eye view (from the perspective of a news helicopter watching the chase) will be obstructed by something, requiring that the player look at his second screen (if there is one) or tilt the controller to move the helicopter (if there isn't). At the end Wario decides to tape the news report and release it as one of his films.

Fronk: Fronk Island
Fronk's minigame returns. The framing device is a movie about a plane crash, that leaves the Fronks stranded in an archipelago. Lost and Castaway references ensue.

Pyoro: Pyoro
Can't have a Wario game without Pyoro! But this wouldn't be the version from Game & Wario, rather it would be a more faithful version of it, except with up to 4 players supported.

Captain Syrup: The Battle of Kitchen Island
I think it's fair to give Syrup a minigame since she makes a notable cameo in another one. Her movie is styled like a war movie in which she leads her gang against Wario's invasion. It's a very basic tower defense game where you deploy pirates to fend off Wario's attacks.

Wario-Man: Diamond Squad
The grand finale of the single player games, unlocked after all the others, this one is a pastiche of superhero movies like the Avengers. When a giant monster attacks Diamond City, Wario transforms into Wario-Man and feeds the other characters Nasty Garlic to turn them into superheroes too. The game is a gauntlet of harder versions of every single player minigame, culminating in a one-on-one brawl between Wario-Man and the monster in an extremely simplified 2D fighter format. To sell the whole collaboration aspect this game can be played by several people at once, in order to try and get the best time. Ashley's superhero form could be Final Smash material.

As for Master of Disguise 2, the idea was that it would come out years later, so it probably wouldn't influence Ashley's moveset (or, indeed, anything in our hypothetical Smash game). I can't even see Ashley featuring in it beyond a cameo, through if someone can think of a way to feature WarioWare elements and characters in a Metroidvania that would admittedly be pretty cool.

I did have the idea for a single special move for Ashley - a neutral B where she shoots an orb projectile, which upon hit temporarily disables the foe’s special moves, with Fronks appearing above their head to signify when they still have their specials disabled. Feel free to use this idea if you like it.

So With 3D World + Bowser’s Fury coming out on Friday, I wanted to rep the game outside of Plessie and the Sprixie fairies, which are already spirits in the game. Perkilator already covered the Bowser’s Fury side of things from what we’ve seen so far, so I mainly took content from 3D World. Meowser and Tanooki Mario were spirits I was surprised weren’t already in the game when looking at the Ultimate spirit list, and everything else is basically the most iconic enemies from 3D World. I included the Double Cherry as well since thats one of our items.

With the most recent Age of Calamity Spirit event, it's clear that Hyrule Warriors content can get into Smash, and Venus already added King Rhoam and Hestu from Age of Calamity as Well. The first game deserves representation to, so I did all of the new characters from the first Hyrule Warriors, as well as Giant Cucco since its also technically a new character. There are also very Few Zelda spirits currently submitted, and Hyrule Warriors is one of the few Zelda games with out much content already repped that I've played.

For the Pokemon Spirits I added Umbreon, Hitmontop, Aipom, Eiscue, Appletun, and the two Eternatuses, which are all Poke Ball Pokemon that have been submitted. I also added Beedrill since that was a previous Poke Ball Pokemon that was also submitted but didn’t get voted in. Weavile was a previous Poke Ball Pokemon, and was playable in Pokemon, and is one of my favorites so I added it as well. Marshadow is a Poke Ball Pokemon in Ultimate, and a Mythical but strangely isn’t a spirit. I added the Regis, Calyrex, His horses, and Melmetal since almost all of the other legendaries have spirits but these guys either got skipped or were in Sword and Shield. I added Hitmochan since Hitmonlee and now Hitmontop are spirits, so why not include all three of them. I added Goodra and Kommo-o since all the other Psuedo legendaries are spirits, but I held off on Dragapult since at least one person wants him as a fighter. Fun fact all the psuedos are advanced spirits, but I made Kommo-o an Ace since he has his own totem battle. Finally I added Galarain Ponyta and Galarian Slowbro, since they are popular Galarian forms, and right now the only other one included is stunfisk. Galarian Slowbro was also submitted as a Mii Gunner costume but lost, so this is a consolation prize.

Given that we had specific prompts to do Golden Sun, Crash, and Style Savvy spirits to compliment the newcomers, I figure Octoling needs some representation too, since none of the spirits currently in Ultimate are from Octo Expansion, or Salmon Run for that matter. there aren't too many prominent Splatoon characters though, especially not ones with official art. Theres also only one other Splatoon spirit currently submitted, so that needed to change.

And I added Madeline and Badeline from Celeste since a music track from Celeste was submitted, and these two have official art with transparent backgrounds. Celeste would be likely get content in a smash sequel due to its success so I think it is a reasonable third party inclusion.

The first game deserves representation to, so I did all of the new characters from the first Hyrule Warriors, as well as Giant Cucco since its also technically a new character

Galarian Slowbro was also submitted as a Mii Gunner costume but lost, so this is a consolation prize

And I added Madeline and Badeline from Celeste since a music track from Celeste was submitted, and these two have official art with transparent backgrounds. Celeste would be likely get content in a smash sequel due to its success so I think it is a reasonable third party inclusion.

I do want to say that this is the format that we should all incorporate into our spirit submissions. It’s easy to comb through and add content, well organized, and very easy to reach. I will try to get other submitters to adopt this format

Ashley Moveset and Gameplay Proposal

“Ashley Conjures an Invitation!”

I’ll format it later

Ashley is a light-weight fighter and stands roughly the same height as the PSI bros, Lucas and Ness. Like any witch, Ashley’s main strengths lie in her ability to use magic and spells rather than all out-damage. In battle, she wields her Magical Wand in battle which allows her to conjure the powers she needs to Smash her opponents. This gives her slightly more reach; even more than the kiddy swordie called Toon Link. In comparison, she has a reach similar to Lucas’ Rope Snake grab. Most of her attacks lack the stopping and killing power of the other attacks on the roster but she can bolster her abilities through her magical properties. She has a lot of mastery in the air thanks to her repurposed side special that aids in her recovery. Furthermore, Red transforms into a parasol by The player holds up while in the air which, like Peach, slows down her descent. Her weak base damage output and lightweight makes her survivability potential laughable but she has plenty of tools and options to turn the tide of battle in her favor.

Neutral Special: Alien Friend
Debuting in Fame & Wario, Ashley calls forth an “alien buddy”. Charging the attack summons up to four Alien Buddies which will constantly rotate around Ahsley in a fashion similar to Mega Man’s Leaf Shield. However, it differs significantly from this attack in its utilization so Mega Man mains can’t go into playing Ashley thinking this will act the same. Pressing the Special Input while this is active fires an energy blast from each alien that is active and each shot is directed forward. The energy blast is similar in function to a Ray Gun blast though smaller with a wider radius. Coming close to the opponent while the aliens are active will deal damage.
Charging the Special Input will cause the aliens to spin more rapidly which will deal more hits per second and will also scatter the shots more so than the default version. However, this will tire the aliens out and will cause them to vanish quicker than when left alone. Grabbing the opponent while the aliens are active will cause them to home onto the opponent and perform kamikaze attacks after the opponent is thrown. Finally, shielding while they are active will cause any active aliens to ricochet off from the shield and perform kamikaze attacks after bouncing off.

Side Special: Red
Ashley summons her closest friend, the little devil Red, to aid in her attacks. This is an entirely situational attack that depends on how Red is brought forth. For the default, Red performs Trident Lunge where he slightly dashes forward and spears the opponent using the Trident. It has great range but it can’t be charged making it somewhat difficult to time. It has a sweetspot at the tip of the trident. Now, this attack changes in the air and it becomes her main recovery move. This is Broom. Bringing Red out while she is in the air at any elevation will transform Red into the Broom and will propel Ashley forward in a manner similar to the old Glide mechanism in Brawl and Steve’s Up Special (forgot the name lol). Tilting the control stick up or down will direct where she goes but she will eventually glide downwards. This is one of the better recovery abilities in the new roster to date and can cover the length of Final Destination plus more. Inputting the special button during this time causes her to perform a loop which will deal damage and knocks the opponent up- but she is limited to this one per time. Finally, he also works as a counter. Bringing Red out right when it connects with an enemy’s attack causes Red to transform into a large door with skull-door knob things. Red will then “open” which knocks the opponent forward after it opens; dealing high damage by multiplying the original attack’s damage.

Down Special: Cauldron Bubble
Inputting this attack brings out Ashley’s trusty cauldron and places it down on the ground. Doing this in the air causes the cauldron to fall to the ground in a manner similar to Steve(s Down Aerial. When inputted, the Cauldron will begin to bubble as the fire is lite underneath it. Inputting the Special Input while directly next to the cauldron brings up a menu similar to Monado Arts which shows several ingredients. The ingredients are:

Mandrake Root
Dried Newt
Rotten Apple
Monster Eyeball

Only four ingredients are available at one time and tilting the control stick to one of the Ingredients and letting go will “add” the Ingredient to the Cauldron. There is a visual cue that one was added as the cauldron begins to smoke. Unlike the Microgame, the player can place two ingredients down but can also place four ingredients for a particular powerful spell. The two ingredient spells can be placed in any order but, for the four ingredient spells, they must be in order for them to be ablke to be used,

Two Ingredient SpellsShield Strength for 20 seconds
Mandrake Root + Rotten Apple: Buff Attack Damage stat for 20 seconds
Mandrake Root + Monster Eyeball: Buff Speed Stat for 20 seconds

Dried Newt + Rotten Apple: Buff Launch Resistance stat for 20 seconds
Dried Newt + Monster Eyeball: Buff Jump for 20 seconds

Rotten Apple + Monster Eyeball: Buff Smash Attack Damage for 20 seconds

Four Ingredient Spells
Mandrake Root + Dried Newt + Rotten Apple + Monster Eyeball: Slow Time Spell (A spell that can be activated to slow down time)
Monster Eyeball + Mandrake Root + Dried Newt + Rotten Apple: Reflect (Reflect projectiles back like a Franklin Badge)
Rotten Apple + Monster Eyeball + Mandrake Root + Dried Newt: Poisoned Mist (Send out a poisonous mist that does continuous amounts of damage.)
Dried Newt + Rotten Apple + Monster Eyeball + Mandrake Root: Tripping Spell (Anyone within the general area trips)

Up Special: Crazy Galaxy
This one replaces her up special and her recovery move. Ashley pulls out her guitar from Crazy Galaxy and rocks down on it. Holding down the special button increases the duration of the attack. It functions similar to Mario’s since removed F.L.U.D.D. in that it pushes away opponents with high knockback but won’t deal any damage. How long the special button is held down will increase the knockback but decreases the radius of the attack. This particular attack is noteworthy because it covers Ashley on all sides. Performing this attack while in the air will cause Ashley to slightly slow down her descent

Normals

Jab: Wand Swipe - A simple swipe with her wand. The follow-up attack is a second downward swipe. The infinite jav is a continuous blast of magical sparks followed by one final one.

Dash: Broom Dash - Red quickly transforms into a Broom which she rides forward quickly. This comes out faster than her side special and does more damage upon impact. It can also fly over certain attacks and items such as Pitfalls and Snake’s C4.

Forward Tilt: Wand Slash - She performs an upward rising slash with her wand which knocks opponents upwards.

Up Tilt: Wand Wave - She waves her wand over her head in a motion similar to Zelda’s but with more reach but less knockback.

Down Tilt: Hex - She takes her wand and places it down on the ground close to her. This causes a spark of magic to shoot upwards. This attack had a bit of start up lag as it takes a few seconds to begin. She can move out of the attack after inputting it but before the hitbox starts.

Side Smash: Monster Plant - She summons a gigantic monster plant that will bite forward which deals tremendous amounts of damage. It has one of the longest start-up lag due to summoning the monstrous plant. Charging the attack up causes the plant to grow in size from its initial summoning. It also serves as a sort of meat shield for Ashley as it will take a hit for her.

Up Smash: Jam Session - She takes her Crazy Galaxy guitar and spins it in a full circle around her in an arc from right to left. The attack will trap any opponents that are next to her and carry them upwards to the pinnacle of the attack’s trajectory and then launch them. During the return trip to the left, it will slam into opponents and then launch them horizontally.

Down Smash: Jack o Lantern - She takes a pumpkin and lays it down on the ground. Charging the attack increases the length before it detonates. When it detonates, it not only deals damage but it covers the opponent in pumpkin goo which slows down the players slightly. This, combined with the Slow Down Spell, makes this a particularly devastating strategy.

Neutral Air: Starry Blast - Ashley points her Wand forward and zaps the opponent with star magic.

Side Air: Magic Zap - She fires a bolt of lighting from her Wand. This takes some time to come out and has really strange properties as the lighting bolt will actually move slower than one would imagine. It first moves up before stopping and then moving back down. It does this three times before exploding at the end.

Back Air: Witch Meteor - She pivots and then brings her Wand downward in a powerful slash. If the attack connects with the gem on the Wand, it becomes a meteor smash.

Up Air: Picture Book - She pulls out a picture book and holds it upwards which causes a blast of light to shoot upwards from it. Like the forward aerial, this had some start-up lag to it making a potential risky attack when shorthopping. Due to the nature of the book, it has great attack canceling properties.

Down Air: Skull Head - She conjures up a cartoony skull and thrusts it downwards. If it connects with the opponent, it bites tee times before launching by them downwards. Like the up air, it can protect Ashley from attacks making it a rather safe attack to pull off.

Grab: Magic Pull - She had an unique grab that has an invisible grab-box. It will take ahold of the opponent and then pull them to Ashley. The length is around three Mario’s bodies.

Forward Throw: Magic Pop - She distorts time and space to such an extent that the opponent vanishes in a tear in time. Moments later, they are then launched out of the year while covered in a strange purple effect that does continuous damage after the throw.

Back Throw: Boo Prison - She zaps the opponent and traps them into the pages of a book. She then tosses the book. If down off the ledge, it can cause the opponent to OHKO. Struggling free the opponent from the book.

Up Throw: Magic Rocket - She launches the opponent with a magical firework. Once it reaches a certain height, it explodes and deals high damage as well as collateral damage.

Down Smash: Undertaker - She will slam the opponent into the ground which buries then. She then conjures up a gravestone which slams down onto the opponent and then pops them up in front of Ashley. This can lead into a combo.

Final Smash: She’s Ashley!
She fires up a purple orb that travels the length of the stage. Anyone caught within the orb’s path will start to glow purple. Once the orb vanishes, anyone under the purple effect is suddenly trapped in a paralyzing spell. Together with Red, Ashley unleashed a barrage of magical spells around the stage. This will deal damage but won’t launch opponents. She then finally vanish and then reappear on the side of the stage in her Crazy Galaxy van and slams into anyone close to her which launches them with high knock back.

Edit: disregard Kula Diamond
Venus of the Desert Bloom Venus of the Desert Bloom I put these here so that it would be easier to just copy and paste them to the front page, I think I formatted and linked them correctly, but if I did it wrong or it doesn't help just let me know and i'll change the way I do it next time accordingly.
Porygon2 was a Poke Ball pokemon in previous smash games, and is one of the few past Poke Ball Pokemon without spirits. Swirlix however, is a current Pokeball Pokemon without a spirit which makes even less sense. Both are pink pokemon, so just based off that they fit the valentine's day theme. Porygon also gets boosted appearance rates during valentines in Pokemon Go, so that furthers the connection. Swirlix is also living candy, which I suppose you could get your love interest for Valentines.

Qucy is Qbby's love interest in all of the BOXBOY! games, and was also playable in the most recent one.

Kula Diamond is a voted assist trophy for Infinite, so I was going to make a spirit for her eventually during the wild west that was open submission time. According to the SNK wiki, the back of her outfit says "Coeur de Diamant" which means Diamond Heart in French, which relates her to Valentines, on top of her color scheme fitting the Valentines Theme.
I also made some Rayman spirits before Submissions were closed and posted them, but they seem to have been missed on the front page.

If you let go of the button to early, Ashley takes some damage, if you let the meter run out, the Cauldron explodes dealing big damage to Ashley and opponents around her, the bomb from WarioWare appears above her as an indicator.

So if Master Hand in Mob Smash wins as the mode improvement, will Master Hand be disqualified from submissions?

Globox (Rayman 2: The Great Escape)
Grand Minimus (Rayman 2: The Great Escape)
Murphy (Rayman 2: The Great Escape)
Bubble Dreamer (Rayman 2: The Great Escape)
Barbara (Rayman Legends)
Argh.. I wanted to do a spirit for Kula for this theme lol. No worries though, you did a good job. As for the music, while it's true that Terry115 is the only KOF 2000 track in the game, it really has no correlation with Kula. Can I advise you to use KDD-0063 instead? It's the theme of K's team from KOFXIII, which Kula is a part of. It's basically one of her themes is what I'm saying.

Sucks though we can't add more SNK tracks, which is why I'll be rooting for more SNK content during this project, heheh...
