Two Users on Same Console - Play each other in game

Is there a way to play two users against each other on the switch? We can sign in with one user on the game and then the second player doesn't seem to get a choice to sign in. Does this sound possible?

Nope. One user at a time.

You are limited to one user per switch. That said, if you have all the characters unlocked with one user, I don't see any reason to need multiple users unless you're messing with spirit mode or something. Why do you want multiple users on at once?

Yeah, only one user can be playing a game at a time. Also, adventure mode is only 1p

You could always just do local 1v1s

You should each be able to start your own adventure modes. Try signing into your profile on 1p controller, and then play your adventure mode. Then, when the first profile is done playing, sign into profile #2 on 1p and try starting another adventure mode. Id be surprised if that doesn't allow you to start separate adventure modes.

Outside of that, when you guys play together, you can create your own custom tags in the game on each other's profiles.

You can have up to 3 different saves for Adventure mode though.
