if you have melee look at yours Trophies some of the Trophies (Ex.Pit) Pit is in the game some others are in the game that are from the Trophies Wario,King Deedee,Meta Knight.maybe more will be in the games from the Meta Knight.

Basicly those are all populair characters, and Sakurai is trying to implement them all, hence the Assist Trophies. I think this "Theory" of yours is something you just know already.

P Trainer was created just for Brawl. Ike didn't exist. Diddy (not sure if Lucas was around) was the only one, but who's to say they can't add more?
