Midsouth did great at Tipped Off 5. Iori got ninth, Chad and IHSB got 13th, Nite got 17th, and Red Ninja and CO_Brad made it out of pools. Also I hear Sugoi Kawaii Moe Chan was from MS (never heard of him what an awful name) and got 5th. In addition, I hear that guy plays Falcon...man I hope to be as good as him.

Why isn't chambers in that list?

Nite should have done better, but he lost to SleepyK (suicide johns =( ) and then had to face Chad in losers

Red Ninja did really well in bracket, I forgot what place he got though.

And all of Run7 except Nite were in a pool with Chad. What the snapz kind of seeding was that.

It's all good. Had a great time regardless of my SDs vs. SleepyK. Still love you, John.

GGs, Chad. Sorry I didn't play you more. Needed a second to cool off. I was good after I got some Koolaid. Hahaha.

Awesome tournament. I loved it. Played so many friendlies with a bunch of people. And we got a hotel all the nights so it was definitely enjoyable when I got to sleep.

Hit me up whenever when you guys wanna smash. I always want to play. <3

I hear this guy is really cool and isn't far away at all. I need to play him sometime soon.

Great job all of you!
Someday I might actually be able to travel with y'all if that's cool.

You hear wrong wolfeye. He's really a prick. He goes out of his way to make you feel bad about yourself by looking dead at you as he combos you. Cool? Hardly.

Not alot of tournaments coming up really so I'm gonna try to get a tri-weekly date soon =x

I guess I should stop calling them tri-weeklies. Maybe "whenever-the-hell-I-feel-like-it-weeklies".

Since when do we have a "normal" turnout like that? We've only managed to get so many last weekend... Still, that doesn't mean that we couldn't do it again.

I'm pretty sure that Arbustos, as well as The UALR guys would be able to make it. The only one's I can't promise are the Curlin twins from Arkadelphia, because I'm not sure next time if I'll have the room in my car. I may be bringing a friend(Not Brad >___>) one who actually smashes.

Alright, so we need to take some initiative on Pound 4 planning.

We need to buy plane tickets. PBJ linked this http://www.studentuniverse.com/ , which seems to work ok, but I think expedia got me similer deals anyways. I found it is way cheaper to fly out of Nashville or Little Rock. It's about $230 atm to fly there.

or we could drive. Yes, I know it sounds horrible, but I think we could do a 14 hour drive if we split it and don't make 1-2 people drive. If I take my average highway milage of 27, that puts us at $155 round trip. That's $40 if we put 4 people in the car. That's almost $200 cheaper. The only this is that we would probably want to leave two days before the tournament to get a bit of rest in.

Money for me is a bit tight now, so driving sounds very appealing.

Thoughts?

I'd love to go, but I've got lots of classes and stuff this semester. If we have to leave extra early, I'm pretty sure there's no way I'm gonna be able to get my teachers to let me make up 2-3 days worth of work (nor would I be able to miss lecture and keep up after doing so). Besides, I'm not even sure what the date of the tourney is.

It's January 16th (Saturday)-18th (Monday, MLK Day).
I would rather leave the 14th (Thursday) if we drive, but if people can't then I guess the 15th (Fri) would be fine.
Then we would drive back on the 19th (Tuesday).

I'll quote the OP:
Public Transportation:

The closest airport is BWI (Baltimore-Washington-International) airport. This airport is about 40 miles east of the venue. From the airport you can take the lightrail to the downtown Baltimore Greyhound station.

The greyhound bus goes straight to Frederick. The bus station and the venue are .8 miles apart. ****. I should be able to make trips here as well, but if all else fails, people can walk to the venue. It's all downtown, so there are tons of people around and it is safe.
