Snake's side special is his Tranquilizer; It has many uses and can even be used three times (not very good but it works) in a row if your enemy's sleep animation makes them go higher. (Like DK.)

If you use tranqs at higher percents then put C4 on the enemy, you can completely DESTROY them easily if you have them at around 160%.
If you tranq and then fully charge your knife combo side smash, you can pile up damage and then use your up-air to finish them off. It's a nice combo to use if you're in a tight spot.
That's some of the better ways to use them, but you can risk using mines after tranqing to REALLY make your opponent mad.

Not exactly true, in the sense that shooting a sleeping character with a dart doesn't actually do anything aside from the 1% damage that they'd normally get.

There are actually better ways to use tranqs and followups from tranq, since most players worth their salt won't get hit too easily. Try looking up some Snake videos on youtube, or even on the Snake forums.

don't use it 3 times in a row for damage. Use it to make them sleep longer.

No, as in, that's not how tranq works. If you shoot someone with a tranq while they're sleeping, they get 1 damage, but they still wake up at the same time as they would if you hadn't shot them.

Forward Air is a better KO option than Forward Smash. The knockback is almost certainly better, the time commitment is less if it's not, and it's harder to DI and impossible to SDI to any considerable degree. Also confused how you combo up air into full charge f-smash?

Nonetheless this is much less "how to use [Tranq]" and more "how to punish after you get a tranq."

Tranq can be used in the event of a laggy grounded move being used, catching landings of aerials/wavelands/etc, and in tech chase reads. Anything else is kinda silly. The end.

And you might be able to catch someone in their option after they wake up from tranq, but tranq definitely doesn't stack on an already-sleeping opponent. That would be ridiculous.
