Trading Trophies and Stickers over wifi?

I havn't made many threads since I've been here but I decided I'd give it another go.

Now I'm sure there will be plenty of Trophies and Stickers in brawl, so wouldn't it make sense for Sakurai to include the option to trade trophies and stickers over wifi? This would also be a great way to give someone a gift for christmas or their Birthday by giving them a rare trophy or Sticker. Trading could be similar to the Pokemon games in that you pick a trophy or sticker from the list, your friend does the same and then you can see your sticker or Trophy flying off into the distance.

Now I'm sure some people will say "That will take the fun and sense of achievment from getting a trophy or sticker. This can easily be solved, there could some sort of marker or symbol which shows that you got it through a trade, this way you can't tell your friend that you completed Event 50 to get this rare trophy because they will know by looking at the symbol that you just got it from someone else, so if you really want to prove you can get it without a symbol you'll have to finish Event 50 (Event 50 is just an example)

I didn't find any other threads about this when I searched, so I'm sorry if there already was a thread like this.

What do you think?

It's a possibility, and seems like something Nintendo would do. I'd rather they spend that time developing other aspects of the game though.

Yeah but it seems that Sakurai is focusing a good bit on the wifi side of brawl too, and they have had 2 years to make it so it's possible they had enough time to add this kind of thing.

I think it could become a popular part in the game because there are a lot of people crazy about collecting and trading.

It could be cool but there is a chance of people creating fake/hacked trophies and sending them t people wih viruses and whatnot.

I wouldnt like trading. I'm pretty selfish.

Plus i dont want some guy to keep asking me to trade some sticker or trophy I might have.

Assuming there would be enough stickers or trophies to trade, and not to just win them over the lottery. It didn't take too long in melee, but if they released a Patch that set up new characters or stages and secretly slipped in a few trophies.

If there was such a feature I probably wouldn't use it, but like antimatter said I would trade extra ones as soon as possible. If you could do it in Melee, it would take away some of the replay value, because you would need to work up the lottery points to earn other trophies. Trading away the extras detracts from that, but now that we have the SSE, it might not matter.

On that note I hope to god that Brawl doesn't have special game save requirements like they did with Melee. Such as the Pikmen one where you had to have a Pikmen game save in order to get the trophy. With the Wii they can do this with various VC games and Wii games, and I don't want to have to buy/rent/borrow anything to get a freaking trophy/sticker. However, having online trading of trophies and stickers would make this point null, as you can just trade with people who have these games.

So I guess I would use it if trading online and game save specific trophies/stickers were both included. I think I just confused myself. XD
