Totally wanting a "Team VS" mode.

You know the one, it's pretty popular in most fighting games.

If you don't, it'd essentially be like a stock battle, except each stock can be a different character. So you could have Mario, Peach, Bowser VS Diddy Kong, Meta Knight, Sonic. Or whatever.

The idea is that you'd be able to switch off with friends for a 6 person (in the example I used) team match.

Bah, you knew what I meant anyways, right?

Anyways it'd be easy to implement. I'd have fun with it.

you choose a few characters. one dies. you spawn as the other character you chose. just like in every other fighting game ever

i think he mesans, 4 or more people are playing and player 123 are on a team and 456 or on the other, so it is player 1 vs player 4, lets say it is sonic on snake. So sonic kills snake, which then makes is sonic (player 1) vs player 5 who has pikachu, the sonic dies and it is player 2 on 5, so on so forth...

That's not what he's saying at all... It's only 2 players, but they choose multiple characters to represent their stocks...

I understand what he means.

You choose characters for every stock and each time you die you spawn as a character you chose to represent your stocks.

Think in terms of all star event matches.
