Toronto N64 Smash Tourney

You know...that would be awesome, but last time I hosted a tournament I tried for N64 and there just wasn't enough interest. But if someone can get something going, I'd love to come.

I wanted to have 16 people if u guys can get more that would b awesome. I know i alrdy have 4 for sure. Once i see more interest i will post rules and prizes and just plain details for all of you.

hmm i think we will be lucky to get 16. I know a lot of ppl who play ssb64 casually but not competitively. so most likely they wont pay to play.

If you can get 10 ppl, i think thts good for starters. Also, have u already found someone who can host this tourney? or were u thinking of renting a place?

I was thinking of just having it at my house in my basement. Lol living with my parents but they say it be alright to do it if i wanted. I was thinking about having 16 ppl. I'd do loser bracket too.

okay good news

i talked to a friend who said he could round up about 6 extra people. Also, my friend is willing to host the tournament at his house located at the intersection of McCowan and steeles. Id suggest the tournament being hosted there since the majority of ppl showing up lives around that area.

We will have Singles/Doubles. Entrance fee is still being discussed but will most likely range from 5-10 for singles, and 10-20 for doubles. Prizes are awarded to the top 2 of each event.

we are up to about 14 people if things go according to plan. The date of this event has yet to be confirmed. If you are interested in participating or want to bring friends along, leave a post stating so.
