Is there a challonge bracket? A final results?
http://smashboards.com/threads/ktar-xi-results.379469/#post-18047184

The bracket is in the results thread.
Everyone confirmed frauds, Seagull is one true PM player
LOL. I had to get used to the new changes, but I guess I'm back in gear with 3.5. Glad I don't have to switch mains! Just got to get better vs get lamed, but I have ideas.

If anything, this version has taught me to not use side b as much, which is good because in 3.0 I spammed that move and got punished a lot lol.

Yeah the major thing I noticed about Diddy is that he has severe Marth syndrome. Can't confirm into a kill for beans unless he catches you with fair on the wrong edge or banana-snipes you offstage or something. It's an interesting take on the character that makes him really exciting to watch this version.

I think he's more like :sheik: then anything.

Seeing Rolex lose to Chillindude and Mew2king, seeming hopeless and placing 9th for some reason is extremely satisfying lol.

Also good stuff @ Seagull Joe Seagull Joe for pushing through with the character and getting results, respect for sure :)

Thanks man! Also, what :snake: even plays against :wolf:? Has that matchup ever happened at the top level? I don't think I've ever seen you or Rolex play Chillin prior to Ktar (Who I would consider the best :wolf: in PM).
Seconded, I think this diddy is just a better/more mobile shiek
I wouldn't say better. :sheik: is a monster in 3.5. Needles are a better camping tool then peanut popgun or a single banana.

I think Wolf vs Snake was in Snake's favour in 3.02 and I can't see it changing that much in 3.5.
I've played it a bit against a few different Wolf's and it's like playing a Falco/Fox except Wolf's punish game and killing power are no where near as harsh on Snake.

Watching Rolex play isn't a good cue for the matchup imho.

You'll still have more points then me on swf LOL.
How ironic. Ppl are complaining about DK "nerfs" and since 3.5 came out I've won 2 tournaments going all DK... is this rise of the apes? :O
:dk2: is my alt. I love using that guy. I don't think he was nerfed at all. Being able to up b more vertically is nice at the expense of horizontal movement. :dk2: already moves horizontally well with his own natural mobility. That's the only noticeable thing I've seen.

It could be xD Yeah, your DK is very good. I was there and saw you win at the tournament yesterday.

Nebulous is a great weekly to keep an eye on. Sure it did the whole pandering to Sm4sh bull**** that literally convinces me that I'd rather Smash as a whole die than see any more of this **** game on everywhere on my favorite PM streams, but it has amazing players playing awesome with cool characters. This week had Frozen's Mewtwo, Gallo's Mario and Ninjalink's Link styling on each other making it look like the characters never got nerfed. Link took the weekly, 3-1 v/s Frozen in WF, then lost a set 3-0 to Frozen in Grands, before coming back and 3-0'ing back in the second set for the win.

Edit: Also Leffen just took a 3.5 tourney in France with ZSS.

Seagull was playing God like at ktar. First time I've seen him play, and it was great to watch.

KayB use your rad connections to tell TLOC to upload the BR13 vids already. Geez it's been 2 days, VGBC does it in less than 2 hours

It takes GimR a week to post Xanadu stuff. In major events, he posts vids in 2 hours, but for events like KTAR XI and STR it takes him several days if not a week.

Also what connections

Last weekend was SIFB3 in houston. I was gonna wait until the videos got uploaded to post here but it seems that they're pretty bad with it lol.

Anyways, top 3 were Mojo (falcon, fox) SparkingZero (Ike), and Chandy (DK).

Smash @PJ's #4 Video Dump

I played a lot more Roy and Ganon this tournament. Not because of any 3.5 changes to Snake, but because Ivysaur and Luigi are pretty difficult matchups for him. Speaking of Ivysaur and Luigi, JZ and Dyl did great. I should've finished Dyl off in our loser's set though - gotta work on my clutch factor and keeping things together as the pressure builds.
