Top and Bottom Newcomers

We have 13 newcomers to Brawl including Trainer's Pokemon. What is your favorite addition, and least favorite addition to the roster?
My favorite Newcomer would either be Sonic or Pokemon Trainer as I grew up with both of their series. I am not specifically fond of Zero Suit Samus. Sure, she's hot, I get it, however her addition seems shallow and unecessary. Her method of transformation however, I ust admit, is rather unique.

My favourite additions are Sonic and Diddy Kong. (I grew up with them)

Least favourite has to be Lucas, because I liked Ness more... (I didn't knew he even existed before I played SSB on my N64, but Ness was in both Smash Bros games and I don't want any new character I also never heard of to replace him)

My Least favorite is :Wario (i don't hate him, but i never like him that much)

Wario deserved to be in Smash back in Melee. In a matter of fact, Melee was intended to have many more characters than it actually had. Mack Rider, Balloon Fighter, Wario, Dedede, Lucas, Snake, Sonic, Sukapon and Little Mac were all characters planned to be included into Melee. Granted some of them would've been scrapped in planning stages regardless if they even had more development time allocated.
See, a sidenote here is that games that are rushed tend to have some lacking qualities. Melee is near perfection in it's own right. However, imagine having some of the characters listed above, no clones, more items, more blance amongst the characters, more stages, and even more modes. I am disappointed that I don't have Brawl in my hands RIGHT NOW, and that I'm not playing Subsapce Emissary RIGHT NOW, but in retrospect, I will be playing a more complete version of it in just 69 days.

My personal favorites are (in order) Sonic, Ike, and Diddy Kong. Sonic and Diddy because I grew up playing their games, Ike because I've become a huge Fire Emblem fan since the series made it out of Japan.

Least favorite is easily Zero Suit Samus. The only reason I don't complain about her often is that shes a transformation, not a character in her own right. Even so, she remains redundant. Trailing her are Pokèmon Trainer and Wario, who I just don't like (Wario I admit deserves to be in, but I still don't like him).

My least favorites would be Ike and Lucas, mostly because I didn't know who either of them were before brawl and now that I do know them the don't really do anything to interest me, still the more the merrier I guess....

least fave Meta Knight as though i really wanted him in, he seems cheap and annoying.

favorite - really hard to choose but i say metaknight closely followed by diddy.

least - even harder, i like them all, but i think the worst is zamus, ONLY becase she tecnically is and isn't a character. and that really bothers me

note - when olimar is updated tomorrow (the 4th) he will become my favorite XD only in my dreams, lol

I'm happy with a lot of the players... I don't really have a favorite, as I haven't had a chance to play as any. But, PKMN Trainer, Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Sonic look fun.

I don't really hate any... but I'm not terribly excited about Ike or Zamus.

My Favs: Lucas and Pit (Loved both games. I don't see why some people want Ness so badly, as MOTHER 3 seemed like a huge improvement of the second one.)
Least Favs: Snake. (I like him and all, but Simon seemed to be way more deserving.) Wario also seems to have lost his brutality of the Wario land games. I'm just not a fan of the fart and annoying humor of his. However, it was pretty nostalgic to see his iconic shoulder tackle in his final smash.
Now all we need is classic Mega Man, Claus, and Balloon Fighter for my dream to become a reality.

Yes, I really do like all the newcomers so far. I can't say really hate any of them, and I don't think I'd hate any future ones that might end up coming along either, and I've seen many crazy suggestions here before. I'm just easy to please like that.

Favorite: Pit. He has a certain style that I favor- he's speedy and more of an aerialist. Plus he looks good in black.
Least favorite: Ike. Guy's got the killing power of a nuclear warhead. Not the kind of fighter I want to face.

really, lucas is nothing more than ness with different hair. I don't see why everyone hates lucas for replacing ness, especially since 90% of those people most likely never even played earthbound anyway.
