yeah, it is kinda dumb that idea, no offence. I think nintendo are trying to make SSBB more mature anyway and pokemon just don't get the job done.

Is there gonna be a thread for every pokemon out there? Also hes isnt much of a tough cool pokemon to deserve a spot in brawl.

It seems like everybody has made a pokemon thread at least once, and continue to keep doing it even though there's no chance of the obscure ones being in.
I had a Togetic on my first Silver team.
Even so, it just seems so...random. It was never really popular, or really that interesting. It doesn't even have anything to warrant appearing in a Poke Ball.
I'd still much rather have 'face' Pokemon(like Meowth, Deoxys, etc.) appear as playables.

Togetic? Seriously, this is the same reason they don't put in guys like waddle dee and shy guy. There just taking up space with characters that can barely fight (yes togetic is a pokemon, but he doesn't have any original moves or traits that puts him ahead of almost every other pokemon. Only the ones you shouldn't have to wait 5 minutes to think of should be in)

I prefer Togetic to Togepi. Seems at least somewhat cooler, overall. The thing is, Togepi has the same "cute" characteristics as Pokemon like Pichu. That "cute" factor (which the fans really seem to love, for some reason or the other) is what probably rules Togetic out of the equation, even as a pokeball Pokemon. They can't have both, so they'd have to decide which one has more bearing on the popularity of the franchise.

Togitec could be considered cute, but the pokemon companies need to have a say in it, so they'll add pokemon who promote the 4th season (I say Rokusho has the best chance, wait isn't that also a metabot?)

I swear to God. If I see one more of these pokemon related threads, I'm going to burn something. If there was an apparent Pokemon character who seriously deserved to be in the next Smash bros. installment, he's already been mentioned. I am not about to sit here while the characters forum is bombarded with threads for each and every one of the 300+ Pokemon which each of thier founders vying for the front page.

No he's too minor and unwanted they will put in a pokemon that people actually recognise like Meowth we don't need to represent every generation of pokemon just the series as a wole because that's like saying they should represent every fire emblem game and put in a different Link for every Zelda game.

How the hell did this thread, having been dead for year and a half, get revived?
Anyways, Togepi's returning as a Pokeball, so why should we expect its lesser known evolution to make it as a playable character?
