How does TL beat Sonic? Barely lost my MM vs. a Sonic main. I had bad spacing and that damn hedgehog covers so much distance in his run making it hard to use projectiles.

Retreating b air makes hard for sonic to get in since it sweeps under him.

I'll be rematching the Sonic player in two weeks, I'll try to get the replays saved and uploaded to youtube so I can be crtiqued. It seems like a tough matchup due to Sonic's speed that limits TL's projectile game, it seems I'll need to pull bombs out in the air a lot.

What do you guys think about good cps for Sonic? I cp'd BF game two and I did better there because I was able to utilize projectiles better and get breathers better from the platforms. I got cp'd to YI but I feel I did better there than our first game on SV. Also what should I consider banning from Sonic? I decided to ban FD since I did better with the platforms on BF.

BF is good vs sonic.

TL outpriotizes sonic in the air for the most part. I literally stand in one spot while throwing projectiles and I kick sonic back out with my aerials.

The last "good" sonic that I played was X at Supercon 2010

BF is the best CP for sonic. meekspeedy told me this b4 and i took speed there 2nd game and won solidly. as far as a ban would go i would think yoshis or pictochat.

The problem was Sonic was approaching on the ground most of the time, due to the fact he could powershield projectiles/attacks and he obviously covers more distance faster on foot than in the air.

Retreating nair/bair/zair seemed to work for that, but my spacing wasn't always good since I'm new to TL and Sonic's speed made my spacing a bit harder. Also I had few ******** deaths from bad spacing, like when I tried spacing an ftilt since I knew he was attepting fsmash but I wiffed and ate it (but this may also be because Sonic winds back a bit before he punches).

Don't use f tilt lol. Use your aerials to prevent your opponent from hitting you rather than trying to hit your opponents and just mix it up. You know that sonic is approaching on the ground so either grab him or just use a retreating aerial/jump away.

EDIT: I don't think some people understand how good foot stooling is in this game. Its amazing
