The first 2016 tourney in Lisbon, planned to be a series of bi-weekly tournaments, Smash Bros. Portugal presents: LX Throwdown!

Hosted in Spawn Point Gaming Lounge. Food and drinks available in the venue!

Schedule:

Sign-ups and friendlies: 10:00 - 12:30
Tourney Start: 13:00
Tourney Scheduled End: 20:00

Entry Fee: €3

Those who bring a full setup (Wii U, Smash for Wii U, GameCube Adapter, TV/Monitor, all DLC Characters and Legal Stages) do not pay entry fee and those who bring a partial setup (Wii U w/ Smash + all DLC Characters and Legal Stages + w/ or w/o GameCube Adapter, or TV/Monitor) have a €1 discount on the entry fee. Every setup or partial setup helps run the tournament faster!

Sure! So In January we finished our Power Rankings for all of 2015 (already kind of difficult as the northen scene is kinda split from the center scene), but here it is. http://smashbrosportugal.blogspot.pt/2016/01/power-rankings-2015.html

Those from 'Lisboa' are the ones from the region where this tournament is taking place. In decreasing order, their ranks would be: Sanimbok (Capt. Falc), BigLord (Capt. Falc.), Hyper (RosaLuma), Dred (Kirby), Storm (ZSS).

In the first tournament we also had a few upsets and some great newcomers, namely AbyssTP (definitely the best Shulk in Portugal) and VavA (Fox main, wih secondaries as Pit and Dark Pit), wich in my opinion already show promise for this region's top 10.

We're expecting to have Sanimbok (Captain Falcon) and Kraid (G&W, Zelda) which are 1st and 3rd ranked players in Portugal respectively, and we don't see them often in tourneys. These two, along with BigLord, always put up a great show.
