This thread's main function is for one purpose: to critically break down the matchups and techs, as well as the possible viable applications of moves and techs in very specific matchups and situations. I made this thread so that me and my friends have a place to post any findings or theories we may have, allow the others to test it, and bring in the results in order to streamline and expand upon the Sonic meta with new information. The goal is this Lab is simple: To move Sonic to mid-tier, or prove the possibility of such by the end of 2008. This is a difficult task, as the majority of the Smash Community barely give Sonic a thought as to his effectiveness in a major setting.

I think they need to have a Brawl battle to settle this. Best 3 of 5, SBR rules (5 starters with Lylat)? I'll be observer/mediator if required

Havokk is newer to the Sonic forums than Chis. It makes sense to sticky the one by the person who I know will be more reliable with keeping it up to date than risk it with the other. I hope you understand Havokk.

If you don't contest I'd like to close this thread as we don't need too many index zones.

I can't believe they argued about this and they STILL both made one. Stop acting like petulant children. Like Boxob said. There's no glory in making a thread. Even when I'm looking at a thread I don't notice who made it. You're not reaping internet win. As long as the community works together we'll get where we need to go.

It was pretty much agreed that I was to make it before 21st of Jan.

I was already working on it, slowly gathering up the threads and thinking of a format. I carried on and made my thread regardless, as planned. So what's the problem?

That you guys still did it. It WAS agreed you had till the 21st right? But then Havokk went and made one anyway. I'm guess I'm just kind of perturbed that Kinzer and Cama would go to all the trouble to talk to the mods about a reformation and we go and act like idiots.

Who actually made their index thread first? I'm too drunk to want to check the times that these threads were created. I can still type perfectly eloquently though :3

Ummm Havokk did but Chis was given the orders to do so. I'm not griping about the two index thing. It's that it was AGREED Chis makes it and I don't see why we need to fight each other every step of the way.

I apologize if I came on a little bit harsh there Chis. I have seen your thread and it is really nice. I am just saying using elements of both threads in one index would be a good idea.

I posted mine first.

I posted this to keep me here. I've done that with the Ness, Link, and Snake boards. I left the Link boards recently because ArkiveZero is an *******. So the logic of not sticking it because I'm newer to the boards makes less sense in my viewpoint.

I was gone all day with the last time I'll see my girlfriend for a week or two, so this thread isn't fully updated. She's going to her Dad's in Arizone (OoS) for a week or two so I spent the day with her.

I put work into this and will keep the formatting, and it will stay up to date so long as the Sonic boards do there part. (Mentioned in the first part of my post)

However looking at Chis's thread, just left that stickied and close this, he seems to be handling it well. **** it.
