Thoughts on: Possible Waluigi for Smash 6 DLC Leak

We all know that Waluigi has been an assist trophy since Brawl. And Sakurai has acknowledged that Waluigi has been highly requested to be playable. However, he's been officially rejected and kept as an assist trophy. But there's still hope.

I recently found a leak here stating that Waluigi will be one of the first 5 DLC playable characters. However, assist trophies can't be promoted to playable through DLC, and can only be promoted in sequels. As we've already seen in Smash 4 and onward. So he can't be DLC for Smash Ultimate since he's an assist trophy as of now.

I have a theory that this leak could actually be a leak for Waluigi being playable in Smash 6. Peach was first playable in Melee, and Daisy was first playable in Ultimate, which is 3 generations after Melee. Wario was first playable in Brawl, and Smash 6 will be 3 generations after Brawl, so Waluigi still has a high chance for being promoted to playable in Smash 6.
