There ARE alt. costumes.

I have been annoyed because people keep asking for alt. costumes. Well, there are. You guys are just too picky. I can list several here right now (even if some are just different colors).

Fusion Suit Samus
Zero Suit Samus (trust me, she's not a seperate character, but not a selectable costume either).
Fire Mario
Fallen Angel (Pit)
Camouflage Snake
Classic Zelda
Daisy
Dark Samus (NOT THE CHARACTER)
Normal Soldier (apparently)
You can think what you want, but Brawl doesn't need all of this to take the title. And also, if alt. costumes were in, what color would they be (see where i'm going?).
There's just one thing: some of these won't be available on teams.

When people ask for alt costumes, they are asking for alt COSTUMES, not recolors of THE SAME COSTUME.

Nothing new here.

No, although they are different costumes the characters use in their games, they are just recolors of their original costumes. And giving those recolors names doesn't change that.

Right now, the closest thing we have to alt. costumes is Pikachu's different hats and things.

Those are pretty much just pallet swaps. And Dark Samus is really Phazon Suit Samus.

But yes, we should be thankful for these great costumes - they're putting a lot more effort into them than they did in Melee.
