I'm looking for a video of I think it was Vist doing an epic recovery on FD. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? It happened in 2013, if that's any kind of helpful information

So I made a combo video with the clips I have. Anyone want to see it? I threw my clips 2gether using the Youtube editor and stuff like dat, so its pretty bad

Very sorry to have dropped out of the loop. I promise I'm working on this video in my spare time, but between practicing for APEX, helping out VGBC, and occasionally getting some sleep, my spare time is spread pretty thin. I'll approach this with more vigor post-apex.

The Luigis that I know of, is ROFL, Vist, Fridgebits, Papapaint, I think BlueEG, and I'm unsure of Eddy Mexico and Vudujin. Abate is not going, unfortunately.

I got a clip from Apex 2014. There wasnt much footage of luigi, IDK why Vist didnt enter Melee.

Anyways from 0:46-1:09 Jekyll is trying to get back on stage from a marth. In that time he techs marth's FSmash 3 times, then eventually recovers with a misfire, just barely avoiding Marth's Fsmash on stage.

Yeah, there weren't many vids of Luigi at Apex this year =/ I did enter melee though, I just didn't make it out of my pool (Got 3rd behind Kage and SFAT)

Jekyll's techs are on point in that match.

And Vist's first stock in the first game vs Kage is incredibly good, a pretty long 0-to-death. Also great was his recoveries, especially in some tense situations like on his final stock in the first game at high percent, and on his second stock in the second match where he techs the wall out of getting Dair spiked (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=L5cOd_kelt4#t=2311)

and also, Papapaint is probably wrapping the vid up about now. I hope some of these newer-linked clips make it into the vid but with time pressures and the fact that Papapaint must be a pretty busy person they well may not. Even so, I think that everyone has contributed a lot to the video already, enough to make the vid turn out incredibly either way.

Papapaint, I just got a few decent combos that I'll try to get uploaded fairly quick. Hopefully you can include them if you stay just a bit patient

I'm not in a huge rush to finish it. It's something that I work on here and there, so there's definitely still plenty of time/room. I think the tentative release date at this point is March 1.

Got some clips from a match from Friday!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UM8ej4v_To#t=437 ( Spring 2014 PR matches - PW | Badangadang vs TFang) Wavedash in and grab Falco to upthrow, then wavedash-jab for a jab reset, followed by another upthrow, dair, and bair on recovery attempt.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UM8ej4v_To#t=493 (Spring 2014 PR matches - PW | Badangadang vs TFang) Not super impressive but somewhat lucky. Luigi beats Falco's Fsmash with a nair weaved through the early hitboxes, then gets a quick kill with fair and bair edgeguard.

Another friendlies match has yet to upload, but it was a doubles game with Luigi + Puff on a team on Stadium; Luigi grabs a person under the tree, then backthrows into the tree to bounce him off, who Puff (shoutout to Vorosh) follows and immediately rests for the kill. I don't know if that's impressive/Luigi enough but Papapaint can decide once I link it.

Quick ledge grab and another bair to put distance, then a shoryuken when Sheik recovers onto stage. Immediately after Smash G O D catches Fox's recovery with an Up B very quickly

How is the progress on Vudujin's piece and the vid?

I'm sure you all hate me, but I've made literally no progress.

However, I'm going to stop waiting for Vudu's music and get started on making the video this weekend. It'll probably take me a few intense editing sessions, so it'll still be a little bit, but I'm hoping to have it done by the end of this month, which should not be an unreasonable goal.

Plus, I'll get to use some of Abate's footage from ROM7 since the year of luigi isn't over until the 16th :troll:
