Here's why X needs a rep in my opinion
1. It's a precursor to the great Star Fox series of sorts
2. It's one of the 4 most influential Game Boy games according to Famitsu
3. One of the first 3D games for the Game Boy
4. The first game to feature Totaka's song
5. Yoshio Sakamoto's works need more representation
6. Brawl needs more space ships.
7. It could bring a revival of the X series
8. It's popular in Japan

X, my friend, is a giant ship in space, comprised mostly of a geometric configuration of black, pixel-like objects, which can be found in almost every video game.
His importance to the franchise cannot be denied. Suck it, Sandman.

Just because the X commander looks similar to a Transformer character, doesn't mean there are some Transformer-like characters and vehicles in the game.
The X commander seen in the game........
........would look exactly like this one in real life.
Also, I doubt there will be anyone nor anything else from X other than the first Tunnel Scene music from the game.

Well well well, it's the Contra Wall. You may know it from the Contra series, or you may not, and in that case I direct you to a Youtube video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2VgAAnUvvI
Anyway, you may be asking yourself right now, "What makes the Contra Wall such a good candidate for Brawl?" That my friend, is a good question, and I will answer it with one of those silly lists that you always see in these character support threads.
1. He's a wall. Using walls is pretty big worldwide, and is kinda popular among human being. Adding the Contra Wall in would be adding a character that would appeal to humans, and us aliens wouldn't care, because at least we know what it is, unlike some Japan-only characters.
2. He's a robot. This is kinda stupid to put on here, since obviously from his name and picture you could tell he's genderless. Well, maybe if you were blind you couldn't tell, but if you were blind it would be impossible to view this website. But anyway, I listed this because everyone always puts this on their list of reasons if it's a female character, but no one care about genderless character, which are definately lacking represenation in Smash.
3. He's a millitary hardware. Melee involved a lot of sword/weapon users and physical fighters. The only characters that could be considered millitaristic is Snake Anyway,, it would be reasoable to add in a character that could use fire-weapon, and who could do a better job at that than the Contra Wall?
That's all I have for now, but this list shall be ever expanding, like an obese guy's waistline. If you have anything you feel that should be added on this list, feel free to post it. And if anyone has a good moveset, post that too. ^^
