Ashley is too pedo-fodder for Brawl. The amount of pedos fapping at paused screenshots of her doing high kicks will be too much fail for the Wii's online servers, and will simultaneously asplode every Wii hooked up to the network in a chain reaction of fail and gayness.

Ugh, I hate the idea of her being in Brawl, but I don't caution the bashing of her character. (I am all for mocking her supporters, thought.)

A "stupid" reason? You stole the naming of R.I.D.L.E.Y's club, Ashley is more obscure than Mog, and people actually admit to have sexual attractions to Ashley, as shown in my (Cuban) linx.

Nintendo own X franchise though just like Golden Sun and Skies of Arcadia right. They bought the rights when they saw it was a success i'm sure. So this stops the third party companies from selling them outside Nintendo.
