There have been many "WOW" Factors already revealed on SmashBros.com. Online Play, Level Editor, and Subspace Emissary. I created this thread so you could speculate about other possible modes that could be in the game that are, as of now, unannounced. :)

So, what do you guys got?

That would be cool, I would actually really like to be able to input my own sound clips for a character. I think that would be fun. Like when you get hit with really high damage your character says "F**k you"!

Upload your Miis to brawl like Mario and Sonic at the Olympics. They can all have one moveset or you could design the movesets.

I have an idea I made a thread about a while back, but nobody posted on it.

The ability for Brawl to detect other games saved on the system and use data, namely, Sound Files, from those games. That way, music from a game you have for your Wii could be used in certain stages or a created stage.

It's similar to what the Budokai series does retroactively with it's games. It's just a step above, say, what Psycho Mantis did in Metal Gear Solid, but instead of simply detecting the certain save files and saying their names

The only slight setback is that one would have to program the games that the sound is recieved so that the file is both saved to disc and compatable, a few more lines of copy/pasted code per game. However, if games made previously were not made with such an option in mind, those games could not be used for music, unless they were to rerelease them (not a big possibility).

However, newer games, like, hopefully, Super Mario Galaxy, could be made with such an option in mind, as Brawl was being made simultaneously.

Hmm... Custom move sets for characters would be cool.

Oh, and the ability to import your own MP3s for stage music.
Through the Fire and Flames on Norfair ftw?

I hope to god there is no create your own character. Smash is not that type of game.
Agree'd. It's not like you'd be able to use your character in tourneys or online anyway (I doubt Sakurai/tournament hosts would allow that). I just hope the stage editor has the option of importing a background. (After all, putting in a really cool background would make each stage you make completely unique!)

I posted this on a another thread, but what about a boss mode? Call this mode "The Arena", the same name of the Kirby Super Star boss mode(SNES). Fight all the bosses from the SSE in a row & each time you defeat a boss you go to a little resting room. If you have never played any of the Kirby games then it would be like All-Star mode from SSBM.

The ability to use Stage Builder to make Target Tests and a linear array of cooperative levels teeming with Subspace Emissary baddies.

Yeah, I thought of that idea a while ago, it is a pretty good idea, but should only be used in Vs. Mode.
Yeah not in Single modes only Multiplayer modes.

They could be used online if you just stuck with 1 moveset. However, I think overall the Miis moveset would not be as good as other characters. A cool thing they could do that I think MaSatog does is look at the wii sports training to determine how strong a character is.

Wow Dynadork,

you basically summed up everything in SSBB as 'wow' factors, so clearly this game rocks your socks. But that's okay because the whole 'bleep, bloop' makes that idiotic post alright.

When you make a thread called the 'wow' factor most people would think you're talking about what's already in the game that constitutes part of the 'wow' factor and not so much what COULD be added.

IMO things that make up the current 'wow' factor include 3rd party characters, online play, & stage maker. Beyond that most new things were semi expected, and this whole FS thing seems pretty imbalanced from what I've seen so far (though pretty cool, too ;)

Senior Crouch-

That boss mode you're talking about the 'arena' was already converted to the SSB series. It's called All-star mode. It's not fighting all the bosses but there are obvious similarities and between the two. Like, your hp does not regenerate, it's the same exact setting as the rest room except like, with more trees and 3hearts instead of maxim tomatos, and the music there is from the kirby series. IMO they should include the original score that played when you like were at the menu screen for 'The Arena' that waz some dope video game music if I evr heard som :p

@DrGrimReaper-

I know about All-Star Mode. The only difference between All-Star Mode and Boss Mode would be you would be battling boss(Boss Mode) rather than the other playable characters(All-Star Mode). I have to agree with you about the music.

Oh, and BTW it's SENOR Crouch not SENIOR Crouch.

Anyways back on topic-

I heard this on another thread and I thought it was a good idea. Someone suggested there should be a Kirby Mode. Where you can choose any of the Kirby Hats and play as that Kirby. I think it should start out like The Arena where you are in a room where you can choose any ability just by touching a little icon for each of the different abilities. As for the gameplay of that mode, I am not sure. Maybe have it like All-Star Mode where you fight all the playable characters, but one at a time.

I'm just really hoping they allow for more variety in multiplayer. Stock matches are really only for determining who's the better player in a versus match, and it gets old after a while because my friends are tired of getting beaten to death by me over and over. Competition isn't always "fun".

Also, to elaborate, I'm not really a big fan of special melee games, and coin/bonus/time modes are absolutely worthless to me. All I'm asking for is that SSBB "borrows" some popular multiplayer modes from other games, because doing so could potentially increase replayability more than any other thing the staff has incorporated so far. Spectator mode? Gambling mode? Lame...and a waste of valuable development time in my opinion.

I'm DESPERATELY hoping we get some kind of oddball, juggernaut, capture the flag, king of the hill, infection, assault, territories, etc. modes in Brawl. To be honest, I really doubt this will happen, but this kind of stuff should take development priority over other last minute "garbage" that will probably never be used more than a few times. These multiplayer modes would bring replayability to the game that is on the level of stage builder. I'm not asking for a Halo 3 rip-off here, but please give my friends and me something fun and strategic to play other than boring stock matches...

That would be most enjoyable, especially with co-op. :)

I agree with the whole getting new modes type of thing. They would add more variety to "Group" gameplay, than the Rotation mode would.

Main thing that would really "WOW" me now would be the addition of actual character costumes in combination with the alternate colours. Also I really like the idea of the "Arena" mode from Kirby Super Star stated earlier. It could be fun cycling through all the SE bosses in a row in an All-Star-esque way :chuckle:

I like the idea. Just not really the AllStar esque way. I like the Castlevania way, one after the other after the other. No breaks or pauses. They also need to be SUPER hard. So when I beat it my friends are like "how the h**l did you DO that?!".
