The Top 8 Winning Dat Steaks: Voting Complete

This voting process will be simple. Hopefully, everyone within the Brawl Sonic community, or steak-enthusiasts will be able to participate.

The voting will be done as a tournament-styled process. I will pit the 18 nominees against each other in brackets, and we will vote on which of the two steak-filled videos in a matchup is better.

After which, the top 8 steaks will be placed in the "Winning Dat Steak" section of the Winning Steak Cinemas (lots of steak in that sentence).

Simple, no?

Before you vote, lets first take a look as to exactly what a Winning Steak is:

A "Winning Steak" is an action with the character Sonic the Hedgehog from Super Smash Bros Brawl, that is so immensely eyecatching or epic, that it puts whoever watches it into a submission of joyful tears [or indescribable laughter in a case by case scenario] of a certain magnitude, usually depending on exactly what action was taken. It is also described by the opponent's failure to stop the development of said action from taking place.

In short, a "Winning Steak" is an epic manuever that defines "win", and since steak itself is "win", the term emphasizes exactly how much "win" was in the maneuver. In this case:

Win^2, or, "Winning Win" (Win in the process of Winning).

Winning Steak (noun) : The accomplishment of pulling off something incredibly epic, with the character Sonic the Hedgehog in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This could be in the form of mindgaming your opponent for the win, or simply two Sonic's repeatedly homing attacking until they both Star KO themselves. The reason why the steak is winning, however, is basically because the opponent's actions to prevent the steak resulted in failure, thus the steak is winning.

Winning Steak (verb) : The action of winning steak. If someone is playing the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl and using the character Sonic, they have the oppurtunity to "win steak". The moment the Sonic pulls off something incredibly epic, he has won steak. The opponent has failed to prevent this act of epicness, so the Sonic won. He won steak.

The verb and noun form are very similar.

The ONLY exception ever made to compromise the definition of "Winning Steak" is "Steak of the North Star". It will also be one of the only videos to do so.

Owning Steak: The original winning steak. Equivalent to:

Win^Winning Steak, or Winning Win in the process of Winning Win.

It is delicous. However, no man/woman/hedgehog alive can ever attain it.
EVER.

However, it is what all true warriors Sonic mainers strive for...

Fake Steak: The exact inverse of Winning Steak. A vile substance.

I'm aware that Sonic Combo Videos have more steak than most regular matches.
However, it's quality over quantity.

It's up to you guys, as the voters, to judge whether or not one steak can overcome many steaks.

The winning steak in a matchup has to be of good quality. The scenario must be met.

There are two pieces of steak in that vs. MK video, but the quality wasn't too great. It has to be something to blow our minds wide open, or be something that's just amazing.

I'll honestly say that I almost voted for the spin video explanation, because it wins steak in the sense that it prevents ignorant Sonic users from posting too many threads about the difference between sideB and downB.

im going to vote for infizzie's vid just because its the culmination of many men's trial and quests to find the steak.

and honestly with the exception of the quadruple bounce around the stage up airs, Jman's epic last kill was more steaky than that entire vid... and im the one that nominated it.

As much as I love infzy's video, I'm going to have to vote for LuCky's Combo video. I'm just so impressed by how good his Sonic was so early in the game's release. Good steak.

I'm also voting for Chaos Control simply because Anthinius did things with Sonic that I've never seen any other Sonic do, and that Marth scene will probably never happen again with anyone. Jman's match was pretty epic, but I gotta give Anthinius the love here.

Lol, Sonic X is terrible, xD

Thought: We can later break down sub-groups: Tourney/friendly (single match) and combo vids. Lets face it: Combo vids= pure, concentrated steak esscence. While steak is always good, i feel a match is of higher standing.

If any care to search back and quote me, i originaly thought of "Winning Dat Steak" as matches showing exemlory prowes and skill, something for other Sonic mains to emulate and aspire to. While my match had 1 EPIC Steak moment, the match overall was steak (Closer looks would see all my KOs were Dair, lulz. First was a reverse Dair stagespike, he shuttle loop failed for his second stock, and Dair thru spamnado was too good. However, I felt the whole last stock was pretty win. Great baiting, ledgecamped Mk (WTF!?, yep) ALMOST got a HA Stagespike off the wing.... all too good imo.

Obviously, in a real tourney it was pretty sweet to humiliate that guy. I actually told him after 3 stocking his CF that he didn't have anything coming. To which, he said "Sonic sux, CF is too manly!" "Well aparently not, JMan's all Sonic and pwnd you (Jeers from other players) "Well you can't beat my Mk..." "Oh, MY Sonic can..."

After he was so demoralized, he muttered "Dair beat tornado???? HOW!?......How...." and left the establishment. So hillarious.

If winning Steak in-game and real life isn't pure Steak..... im ashamed of you lot. Steak moments ppls!!!

2: Unleashed 2. It has too much steak. Like vain-clogging steak.

3: You know I choose Malcom, it's just... WURT

4: I learned all my basics trough Orichi's vid, so I chose it. Knee was good, it could earn Steak. But I can't get it over my heart.

5: Chaos control, how could you even bother asking? Chaos control is the best Sonic combo, and the Orochi video was against a CPU, which can't compare. It wins a minor steak

6: I didn't like the combo, and Puff's vid was win. I chose Puff

7: Infzy SDR madness. It comes close to owning steak. Best part is that it's done on MK
