It is a generally accepted fact that there are five players at the top of the scene today (M2K, PP, Mango, Armada, and Hbox). The list is accurate for the most part, with one exception: Armada.
There is no doubting Armada is a great player and has won many tournaments that placed him among the melee elite, however, since announcing his retirement from singles, can he really be considered in the top 5? This is not a thread to spew hate about Armada as I find him to be a very electrifying player to watch and his successes in doubles and PM show that he's not washed up. This is merely a discussion to see if the community can agree upon a possible replacement for Armada, due to his absence from Melee singles.
There are many great choices that come to mind for Melee's Elite Five, but, we are a community, and its really up to the people to decide if a change should be made. who do you think is good enough to be on top?
