I've gotten pretty mediocre results my last two tournaments, and, while, yes, I admit that I am disappointed, don't think this will continue. I'll be sure to make my way up higher again!

True. Although I got a similar mediocre result today, all of my losses were of me SDing and not really losing to my opponent.

I've been there too, I sded in an otherwise close game at my last weekly vs Riz. And before that vs a DK which was really disappointing. I find that I kinda border on not recovering a lot and on a stsge like Duck Hunt this really messes with my recovery personally. Losses push me farther regardless though, even if by sds,

A bit late but i didn't make it out of pools at syndicate after losing in losers finals at pools, gonna do better next time.

Today I got 17th out of 96 at my monthly. In my pools, I 2-0'd the ZSS, Mewtwo, luigi/shiek and Mii Gunner and I lost 0-2 to Toon Link (PR 5th).

Then in Top 32 I lost to Villager (PR 8th) 0-2, beat a fox 2-0 and then lost to a fox 1-2.

I placed 1st out of 60 in the 2nd Chance bracket of a big tournament in our area. I got knocked out early in regular brackets but I made up for it.

Kind of salty that I choked in my first bracket set, but I had 2 very close games with Dr. Clean (Fox main who got 4th), and made it out of pools for 17th/33 overall, so I'm relatively satisfied.

Had a monthly a few days ago and got 25th out of 110. I beat a custom Mii Gunner (2 - 0), a Mega Man (2 - 1), lost to 2nd PR Mewtwo (0 - 2), then beat a mewtwo (2 - 1) and then lost to a DK (1 - 2). The DK set was on stream, will share the footage when it's out.

I got 2/32 at an Idaho monthly this weekend. Most of the matches were streamed/recorded, so they should be up soon. I beat:

Monster - ranked 3rd, Mario
Pow - ranked 2nd, Pacman (lemme inflate my accomplishment by noting he also beat Captain L at Evo 2016! )
Marathon - ranked 4th, Robin

Lost to:

Nunu - ranked 1st, Fox x2

Other matches:

$1 MM: Phiz - ranked 7th, Sheik (I won)

I usually feel pretty bad about 2nd place, but not so much this time. Idaho as a whole impressed me more than I thought it would (lots of really good unranked players that I played in friendlies). Nunu played the MU like a champ; knew the FAir > footstool combos and generally converted any mid-low% hit into a 50+ UAir string (I couldn't take him to BF because he killed me so early off of the platforms). Never approached carelessly either. Really looking forward to getting my second chance at him. Moreover, all 10 PRed players were in attendance, so, while the turnout wasn't huge, I'm glad about the abundance of talent and good players in such concentration.

With that, though it's not much, I do now hold top 3 results in three different major regions!
