I really am doing this aren't I?
Haruka Amami is the protagonist of Bandai Namco's Long running franchise "THE IDOLM@STER" which is a rhythm game series about managing and customizing your Idol group, and eventually performing. The series started in 2005 in Japanese Arcades, the original game made the rounds and gained notoriety due to the ability to save progress and even compete with other players. The series from then on has had several games on many different platforms like the Xbox 360 and most notably, Mobile Phones. The mobile games especially have proven to be a big hit worldwide (but mainly in Japan). There was also an IDOLM@STER Anime that was a hit further increasing the series Notoriety.
Why Haruka?
Haruka Amami was the protagonist in the first game in the franchise, while she might not be the main star as of recent, she kicked off the rest of this series and has in turn become the icon of the series.
Setbacks?
Haruka's Biggest setback is the fact that very few games have released worldwide, which could potentially be the nail in the coffin, There has been a little bit released worldwide though
What could she bring/Moveset?
Her moveset could focus on timed inputs or another rhythm based mechanic and the specific moves could be based on the many cards and costumes she has in the franchise
The music would be the real standout though, The series has a wide variety of J-Pop sung by the Dozens of Actors they got for the Idols
