This is a thread about Melee tournaments in Europe. Hopefully it'll give people an easy overview of the European scene.

What The SSBM Times offers: all upcoming tournaments; results (& videos) from the 5 most recent tournies; player and character scoreboard (points for placings); and a tournament archive in the form of update posts (=coloured posts that I use to bump this thread).
Results in blue are from local tournies, results in orange are from big, international tournies.

If you want to check out more of the European scene, you'll find links to regional websites, threads and power rankings in the second post.

Also allowed in this thread: you correcting my mistakes (like characters used etc.), euro smash gossip, trash talk, worship, illegal bets, and most importantly
I can not check out all the local European forums myself, so if there's a tournament coming up that hasn't got a thread on smashboards, please pm me a link!

Sweet. I was actually gathering informations to do something similar.
I'll give you everything you need about the french smash scene.

However, what's your definition of a tournament. For instance, France doesn't have tournaments that often (the last one being DST12, in September). However, we do have quite a few tournaments in anime/game conventions, though I would not describe them as "real tournaments", and, more important, we have a decent number of smashfests which do not fit the definition of a tournament (that is, with an entry fee and a cash prize), but are competitive nevertheless.
So, tell me what you'd want to include in your archive

Nah, Reece is a dead end. Nobody I spoke to can remember who he was or what he played.

If someone can let me know how to export Tournament Maker 2's bracket's as an image, maybe that'll jog someone's memory, but that's not really important unless you REALLY want all top 8.

And I'm cool on the Kirby front. I won the match, but it was a pretty early bracket. There's no chance I'd have used him later when things got more serious.
