i approve of this statementNo, there would just be heavy steak-related casualties resulting from noobs taking in too way more meaty goodness than they could handle.
I think this is what happened to KASR. He created "The Steak", therefore something of equal value had to be sacrificed. (Sadly KASR's own life..."The Steak" consumed him)No, there would just be heavy steak-related casualties resulting from noobs taking in way too much more meaty goodness than they could handle.

It's that whole equivalent exchange thing.
I see Sonic more as something like this:
![]()
Eva-01 eating Angel Steak.
Sonic players more like this:
![]()
Pilot of Eva-03, who, as anyone familiar with the series should know, was taken over by an Angel.
You might think, wtf is this anime shiz?, but this has meaning, though. He who has steak in his ear, let him hear.
Evas (the giant mech monster things) are a symbol of Sonic. Evas are controlled by pilots. Characters are controlled by players.
The first picture shows Eva Unit 01 devouring an Angel. You can see the Steak in the Eva's mouth.
The second picture is a loser of a pilot who just wanted to be as cool as his friend who was saving teh city with his Eva. By some miracle, he was chosen to pilot an Eva. However, his Eva was taken over by an Angel. While he was under the influence, he survived nukes and did major bad***ery until he got killed by his best friend, whomained MKpiloted the Eva that ate the Angel.
That is the general Sonic main.
A player who wanted to be cool and main Sonic to prove that he doesn't suck. He started to main Sonic, but he was overwhelmed and taken over by Steak (because, as proven in the first picture, the Angels are just a huge conglomeration of Steak) . He was able to perform and survive crazy shiz. However, he came up against the player who conquered the Steak, and was defeated.
The player who conquered the Steak was the one who got over the fact of the character and learned to manipulate beyond the character level, and into the players' level. The player who got taken over by the Steak was obviously way too caught up with his character. Of course, he ravaged people who didn't know how to handle the matchup, but he ran into the good player. And even though it was painful, the good player knew how to handle this guy and mind****d him to his death.

And this is the Sonic main who piloted the Eva that ate the Steak.
He's a fanboy, yes he is.

New Sonic AT: Smash-Cancelling
You can cancel your fsmash into a run. This is done in one of two ways.
Method 1:
When you go to smash, hit over and A, just like always. Only you need to miss the A button.
Let me repeat myself:
Miss the A button completely.
By doing this, you are able to cancel his smash attacks instantly into a run, rather than missing with a laggy fsmash, or the like.
It should be noted that this is MUCH harder to do with dsmash, and almost impossible with usmash. Most times, I end up jumping instead of running.
Method 2:
AFTER your smash attack, you can follow up with a run. This method is much easier to do from usmash and dsmash than the first method, but you run the risk of lagging for too long after the smash attacks and getting hit.
Sonic's metagame is steppin' up, guys. Let's get this ******* banned.
Thanks this is very helpful.
I REALLY hate you. Thanks for the tip.
You think thats a fair thing to say? FYI: Hating? Not good. All he did was thank the guy. Sheesh.I REALLY hate you.
This made me lol.My browsers page width hates you.
Oh cool.Hey guys.
I know it says I'm a smash noob, but seriously, I'm not. I've been playing for a pretty long time, but i haven't bothered to sign on to here. Ah well.
Anywayz, i have a technique to post... not sure if you've already posted it, but i didn't see it in the intital page so...
Its called the IHSC/IHSD. Stands for Instant Hitbox Spin Dash/Charge (I prefer charge). To put it simply, when you turn, you know how you lose the hitbox of the spin for a sec? Well, this technique gets rid of that, but only conditionally. If you are on a moving platform of some sort (converyer belt works best) do a spin, and when you reach the edge of the conveyer, just before you fall, change your direction. Sonic will change his direction instantly. Literally. He will just go from facing one way, to another.
Uses? Well, on pokemon stadium 2 it can be used, and its good to turn nice and quick, and still retain your hitbox.
Hope it hasn't been taken.
Hope you like it.
If you keep this up you'll be the jerk of the whole sonic board and by the way I've met jerks like you, but man I think you're the biggest jerk I've ever met.I REALLY hate you.
Too late.If you keep this up you'll be the jerk of the whole sonic board and by the way I've met jerks like you, but man I think you're the biggest jerk I've ever met.
Oh cool.
I've done it a few times on Final Destination though.
The one performed on FD/non-conveyor levels is opponent-dependent, I can say that confidently, but I'm still not too sure about what the conditions for it are, except that the opponent needs to be near the edge.
The spam was getting out of hand.Yeah, so have I, by pure chance. And, yeah, now that I think about it, It did always happen when I was vsing someone...
PS: @ Teh Umby
If you don't like em, then what are you doing here? r0yhastehph1re!
You know, that was one of the first, if not THE first reason I made for why that little bit of a strange happened. The spam was getting out of hand.
Whatever Umby and Memphis say are usually what I'm thinking and don't say myself ;d
Also, in case anyone missed it earlier, the DAC > N-air was because of Sheik's shield pushing Sonic off the stage. You can recreate it easily with dash attack if someone's shielding near the edge.
