Okay let's be real folks, Snake has a point.

The Unova games are some of the best in the series, but all the currently available carts cost more than your first car. We as a species need easier access to these games in general.

And with Unova, there isn't an obviously better version of Black and White. The big issue with BDSP is that they chose to ignore Platinum basically entirely, when everyone agreed that's the best way to play through Sinnoh. Whereas BW don't have a competing third version, and instead have whole sequels with an overall different story and gameplay through-line.

Yeah it'll suck to see BW's excellent art style turned into weird chibi stuff, but the core gameplay and story should hopefully still be the same.

Nah, you got it wrong, they will re-release old games... as long as it's not the main series and has no backwards compatibility whatsoever with Home/Bank or whatever.

Because why would you want to play games that can be used to finish up your modern day Pokedex? That's just stupid.

I don’t know if this is true but I saw a few people saying the other day ( in regards to the gba collection rumor), that if Pokemon was on NSO, Nintendo would have to pay GF licensing to keep it there. Something they might not want to do, which is why we haven’t seen them yet.

Would actually explain why they would go for a physical release. It would make way more money and be a one time deal.

I don’t see a point in Nintendo buying the entire Pokémon franchise. All the games are exclusive to their systems and app stores (holding that side of Nintendo down alongside FEH and Mario Run…don’t think either will ever actually die), and they’re seen as Nintendo only anyways, so there’s no point.

Yeah, but WHY would that be an issue? They don't own Ninja Gaiden AT ALL, and that title is on NSO. Same with Killer Instinct or Demon's Crest. Hell, the former of the two is currently owned by a rival console manufacturer. At least in the case on little to no Mega Man, Street Fighter, Castlevaina and Contra on NSO is that they did their own collections available on multiple consoles and PC, including Switch. Clearly those titles would have to have some similar licensing deal,

As long as Pokemon continues to sell gangbusters I don’t know if Nintendo will ever step in and try to buy the company, they’re comfy in the position they have now.

The most I imagine they ever did, if anything, was after S/V released in the state it did they probably called up Gamefreak and TPC to express some concerns.

Here is this idea for the gameplay of a Sonic game idea I had in mind.

Here is another game idea of mine, which is a game like Sonic CD. I don't have a story yet, but I do have the way the gameplay would work. Basically, there would be signs that allow Sonic to travel to the past and future in the level. However, it is not in the way you think, and there IS a catch to how it works this time around. You know the timer that is part of the UI, and is on the corner of the screen, usually the top? Well, the timer would go from -99:99:99 seconds (the past) to up to 99:99:99 seconds (the future). Sonic must use the time travel mechanic that, when it activates, allows Sonic to run forward or backwards in time in place, though speed must be built up first before Sonic travels, and he does not move until he stops time traveling. During the process, the timer will accelerate either forwards or backwards, and Sonic will thus go to an earlier point or a later point in the level where different things and events will start happening by then. Sonic can wait for the time go buy in terms of the future, but it is not recommended as it affects the chance to get an S rank negatively. With this, Sonic does not have to destroy roboticizers, as there are none, but he can do things in the past that will affect the future of the level he is in, and Sonic will have to do things at different points in the past to affect the future, or different points in the future before the most extreme point of the future he goes to, all while the timer goes back or forth during the action of the level through time travel. Sonic will have to do this to earn S ranks.

By the way, there is a second timer below the first one, which, in terms of getting the S ranks, is the one to rely on. The time of the second timer is constant, regardless of past and future, and the first timer does not have any effect on getting an S rank. Also, this would be modern and 3D, or 2D, either way.

The big thing about the possibility of Nintendo owning all of Pokemon is that the competitive scene will die instantly and I don't think that's in the best interest if anyone involved.
