Ultimate is… hard to be satisfied with. Purely because i can’t stop myself from looking to the future and thinking about what is to come from future titles. It gave us so much. And yet, because it didn’t give us literally everything it’s not good enough. Funny how things turn out like that. Ultimate did end on a low note. Because Ultimate ending IS the low note.

To be fair, it's literally impossible to straight up give us everything. I'm happy about the way it ended but there's still a bunch of characters I want, and I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.
But I find it healthier to focus on what is rather than what could've been.

I’m not really focusing on what could have been and more on what is going to be in the future and how disappointing it’s going to be.

I'm pretty disappointed with Nick All-Stars myself but "buggy"? I've yet to see anyone report any serious bugs from the game.

So, here I'am, back at the Social Thread.

I promised I'd show my reaction for Sora. There it is.

It's in french, with me, my best IRL friend and my cousin but you'll quickly get who's genuienly crying like a kid and hyperventilating like never before.

Small backstory, the person who's recording it, is my IRL friend, we're watching through Discord.
He's been hearing me for 11 years, talk about Sora and how much I wanted him in smash, back from Middle school, all the way to the end of my studies.

We've been throught Smash 4 to today, the end of Ultimate. I was the one who made him start to play Smash bros.

During this stream, I was lagging behind, he was in advance for a good 10 seconds.

He kept quiet when the Keyblade appeared, just to not spoil me a surprise he knew was my childhood and life long dream.

I love watching reactions in other languages - I may not understand all of what's being said (my French is extremely rusty, though I can pick out a few words), but hype clearly translates no matter the language. At this point, everything else just feels soo abysmally small. That's not a bad thing at all, mind you, but there's just no way to top Sora. Hell, even Master Chief couldn't at this point.

Tbh, you can top Sora, but it'd have to be someone pulling in Minecraft numbers at this point.

It is done.

Metroid Zero Mission 100% done on Hard.

Finally, I am free of the nightmarish Shinespark puzzles this game have. Trust me when I say this, don't 100% this game on your first go, if you don't know how the Shinespark work too well AND.....try using save state to save time if you're failing over & over again.

Will say though that Mecha Ridley was a much worthy challenge here, as on top of being harder thanks to Hard Mode, 100% the game give him a big boost in health I think, so you can't just go YOLO on it. Certainly alot better than Mother Brain when it come to difficulty, even if the RNG on the items you get from it's missiles can really drag the fight if you're unlucky.

All that said, 4 Metroid games 100% done on their hardest difficulty, Let's. ****ing. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
