Well, I'm bumping this topic. It's too good to be forgotten, and has to be updated for Diddy's confirmation and some de-confirmations anyway.

Before I add my list, I have to ask why newcomers get points off for Deoxys. This is because Deoxys was a recurring character in people's lists, and not only that, had showed up numerous times in the entrants' lists before his deconfirmation. That's why the only way to redeem yourself is proof that you did or did not support a (de)confirmed character. After all, I started the contest loong before new stuff was confirmed. I've been holding off on adding the late entrants to the list because they haven't done anythin to prove that did or didn't support a character, so if they still haven't edited their lists (including you), I'll have to dock points off accordingly. Sorry, but it's only fair

Anyways, I just updated the list again thanks to the awesome Lyn update. The new entrants will be added come the next standing-changing update.

Now for another update:

Wow, a huge chunk of the particpants' lists got beaten pretty badly with the Ice Climbers' confirmation... you can see for yourself the number of casualties on the first page. Luckily for a bunch of people participating in the secondary lottery, the Ice Climbers are still hanging on (although I'm curious as to why they're still missing from some people's auxiliary lists).

Remember, for people who got knocked down for not including a character, it's still possible to get a full 35, as long as there are enough characters in the final game. For those with more points off for missing Ike and Ice Climbers, their chances get slimmer and slimmer with each character they miss. (And of course, getting a character on your list wrong permanents drops your rank in the standings.)

With the release of the final roster coming within a couple weeks, I'll have to redo the whole list again anyways, so the current standings are an estimate of where people will rank in the end. But things can change wildly, since the rest of the characters will make it or break it for a lot of people. =o

Anti Guy in the 35 lottery i have (-I.Climbers,-Lucas) and in the 40 i have (-Lucas) but i also have bad the iclimbers so i should be in possible 38 no possible 39.
